There is a great video that introduces the shop and Francesco (the shop owner), and then you can explore the shop and experience all the incredibly variety of scents.
At the top end of Wellington's cable car ride is a unique and amazing large shop that deals only in perfumes of the world which you are able to sample.

It was just by chance that we called in after being to Te Papa, we hadn't been here before and was amazed at all the different things that we could buy, the food stalls were amazing so indulged in some dumplings,...
Lots of variety from jewellery, clothing, homewares, souvenirs, and food etc. Well worth visiting.

They are a small artisan shop with a great ethic for sourcing & community.
We were the only customers in the shop and received information only available on the private tours.

Similar to the Queen Victoria Centre in Sydney, the architects have kept the wonderful architecture of this early 20th century building and crafted it in to a great little shopping mall in downtown Wellington.
Lovely old architecture with nice shops and an old wooden ship buried in the basement.

We also treated ourselves to an unexpected, modestly priced watercolour which we found in the excellent shop.

The smell of books is memorizing, and it great there are a few chairs to sit and wait for shopping buddies, who take a while to decide.
We always leave the bookshop with lots of book, bound to find something we like to read.
