Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Spend 2 1/4 hours here and could have spent much more of not for having to catch a flight home.

Friendly and helpful guy in there as well.

My 12 year old didn’t want to leave, so you don’t just have to be a retro gamer to enjoy. Any video game fan will enjoy a visit to the this place.

    Totally recommend

We visited Claisebrook Cove as it was recommended as a hidden gem with a picturesque walking trail. It did not disappoint!

Beautiful views along the Swan River and gorgeous architecture. Definitely worth the visit. I’d definitely come back for a picnic lunch by River.

Donation for this beautiful building, gorgeously preserved. If you are interested in the physical courts commencement, pop in here. You can stand where the judge would sit on the bench, see the robes and read about laws for women, children and Aboriginals. Worth a visit but then I am biased and visiting Perth for a law conference

A unique little museum - liked it a lot. Such unusual exhibits Volunteers do a grand job of preserving all these objects for future generations. A lot of fascinating information too. Recommend to visit as part of a discovery tour of Perth.

The State Buildings were Treasury, Lands and Titles, they were the administrative heart of Western Australia's government. The buildings are built of red brick and stucco, as with most colonial era public buildings. The State buildings are on the corner of St George's Terrace and Barrack Street, in the center of the State's capital. After many years of neglect, the State Buildings are once again the heart of Perth.

What an amazing little bar. Really nice atmosphere and truely amazing selection of rums and rum based cocktails. Great staff and the whole concept of a back ally speakeasy is brilliant. Well worth a visit if you can find it and don’t forget the password

I had an amazing birthday celebration at Wolf Lane Bar! The staff went above and beyond to make it special. They were incredibly accommodating and took great care of us. The highlight of the night was definitely the delicious and unique cocktails they served, and Nick, in particular, did a fantastic job crafting them. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday experience. Wolf Lane Bar is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable night out.

A cool bar tucked away from the busy street above. When you get down the stairs entering the bar, smells of buttery popcorn hit you. It is quite dark but adds to the atmosphere. Good drinks list. Cocktails are quite pricey but tasty.

This bar could easily be overlooked as it isn't in plain view.  It is situated on a laneway that runs parallel to William Street abs close to James Street.

That doesn't seem to stop its patrons from locating it though as it was completely full by 5pm. It is quite a trendy bar and prices seem to match. They only do schooners but pricing matches that of expensive pints.  They same applies to wines.  Nevertheless, we enjoyed our visit here with friends.

I took part in a custom Sips & Stories Tour in Fremantle, with Alex as our guide. The tour was such a joy and Alex was a wonderful guide. She was bright, witty and warm and it was a pleasure to have her showing us around and teaching us history of Fremantle. I definitely learnt a few things! I 100% recommend this tour company of visitors and locals alike and look forward to doing another Oh Hey WA tour sometime. Thanks again, Alex! :)

We joined Jack for a fascinating wander around Fremantle WA. He shared so many wonderful stories and facts with our group, we all came away with a greater respect for the beautiful Historical Port Town. A must do when visiting Fremantle, they also have some great Perth walking tours aswell.

Big thanks to Max and Sam for bringing us around Perth. We appreciated the unique commentary that gave us insight to not only the history of the city but also its artistic and aboriginal elements.

Never a boring moment on this well paced tour and I must say the family was engaged throughout. This was not an easy feat considering we had seniors and toddlers on the tour.

We ended off with a nice quick spin around the square. amazing considering max was using an ordinary bike . Would 10/10 recommend as an enjoyable way for families to understand Perth !

We are from the west coast of Canada and were looking for a tour of the Margaret River wine region. It was our good fortune to book a 3 day private tour with Up Close and Local. We had an unforgettable experience with Up Close and Local. Paul Montague, our driver and guide for the 3 days, was outstanding. Not only very personable and knowledgeable about the wine area, he was very easy to travel with and made sure we were very well taken care of during our time with him. He took us to excellent wineries for tastings and showed us a great deal of the Margaret River area.
We would highly recommend Up Close and Local for any tour and in particular, we would highly recommend Paul.
    Thanks for a great time!!
