- Paul VNorth Sydney, Australia245 contributionsToo often when you hire a bike, the gears slip and the brakes are questionable. Well - hooray for this place. Gears did not slip once. Saddle was comfortable especially as we did not have cycling shorts. And the bikes had disk brakes.
Well done to the owners - I would go back any time. We rented for 2 hours but if we had run over, they would just have charged us a couple of bucks more.

I was triaging a commute to work, hiring the bike made the decision to purchase my own E-Bike very easy.
Wes and Rachel were awesome, they were super quick to respond to my request and even delivered it to my door.

Seals in their natural habitat and Kevin the penguin was adorable. - silverthreads101Palmerston North, New Zealand382 contributionsThe inner city agent for Gecko bike hire at the Emperors Crown Backpackers in Sterling St. This was a short walk from our hotel. The guy on reception was helpful and organised the paperwork quickly. Although the selection of bikes was limited we both found bikes to suit us. Helmets and locks are supplied as well as a pannier bag if needed. $22 per bike for 4 hours was good value we thought. The bikes worked well and had a simple gear system that coped with a few minor hills along the journey. This was out third time hiring bikes in the city. We chose this agrncy for this visit because of their opening hours on a Sunday as well as the proximity to where we were staying.
