- Tony S2 contributionsMy wife and I took Grandkids here today. It is a very good place to keep them busy. Unfortunately the place is not very clean and there was broken glass in sand next to zipline. I don't know who is responsible for the cleaning of the playground but for such a great place needs a lot more attention. Then another area with pirate boat in sand that we didn’t even get to. The cafe is right next door for coffee,eats and ice cream. - Tina D3 contributionsMills Park is a new nature play park with a lot of fun features for kids of varied ages. There is lots of opportunities for older kids to climb and balance on natural logs and ropes. It is quite a challenging playground and best suited for kids 4+ as some sections are quite high. There is also a slide, water play area and sandpit, nature trails and lots of grass for the kids to run on. There is some trees (not a lot) and barbecue picnic areas for families and this is a popular spot for families to get together for celebrations. It can get quite hot in the summer due to the lack of shade.
There is a cafe nearby but it's not always open so check ahead. Toilet facilities and ample parking are also available. My child loves coming for a play here and always makes friends with a lot of the other kids.
