Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Never went into the building but admired it from a far. What a wonderful building and slightly different to others buildings within the city.

It is a strikingly beautiful historic building. You cannot miss it if you are walking along Hay Street. It is just north of Elizabeth Quay and on the next street from St Georges Terrace.

Situated on the hill across the (very noisy) freeway at top of St Georges Ave the building certainly looks impressive - I can't comment on the interior. Standing on the front steps looking back towards the Avenue you can perhaps understand why they wanted to demolish the Barrack Arch as it completely obscures what would have been an impressive vista. Grounds are well maintained and across the street behind the building is Solidarity Square, office of the Premier and Cabinet Room (former school boarding house) and offices of the WA National Trust. I'm not up on the Australian parliamentary process and so probably wouldn't get much out of a House tour.
