Our driver picked us up from set location and explained to us each of the places we were going and what we would see and sample. We started at Lancaster winery with a cheese board to accompany our wines then onto Maya Maya for some more wines then a beautiful lunch with ample serving sizes. After lunch we visited Sandalford Wines in a beautiful setting then onto The Margaret River Chocolate Factory for sampling of delicious chocolate and liqueur. Great wineries and cheese boards, good wines and good times.
Each winery had a different character and it was quite laid back.

All the places we visited were very interesting with generous sampling of produce & the people friendly. The lunch was delicious and likewise the cheeseboard! Lunch was delicious. The cruise back was the highlight - so relaxing, plenty to drink but the best part was the talented singer who entertained us for the last 20 or 30 minutes. The planning and thought that has been applied to this trip is obvious, knowledgeable and entertaining staff who know how to read and interact appropriately with their guests. It is a rare find to experience philanthropy over profit in this industry, the passion and pure joy of all things Margaret River, WA and indeed Australia is very evident and refreshing. The extra touches and personal effort were subtle, without grandstanding, making this trip unique and so special. Thank you to Rob, Neil, Lincoln and Rusty along with those behind the scenes who provided two old friends with so many laughs, information and camaraderie, on a trip that has been many years in the making!
