- Gina G72 contributionsThis is a five-star experience for a day trip taking you outside of Perth. Our driver and guide, Emma, was fantastic, along with her colleagues in the other two vans, Hadrian (special thanks to him for the lesson on using phone for fantastic stargazing photos) and Don (great astronomy narration at The Pinnacles). The Pinnacles, the stargazing and Australian BBQ dinner under the stars are the highlights of this day trip. The stop at Hangover Bay earlier in the day was just OK and although sand-boarding the dunes was fun, it’s not for you if you don’t like hair-whipping winds with lots of sand flying at you! The lead on board was incredibly rude when we asked about our hired bikes and snorkels that we prepaid and hired. The snorkel sets were at the far end of the wharf, and the crowd was thick. Not only did we navigate down to the snorkels there were several people waiting for about 15 mins until a staff member came to assist. The bikes were great but we did not get a lock and the obvious thi g happened at our last snorkel spot...our bikes were stole and the 3 km walk back dampened a great day. We had drinks and snacks at the Mezz waiting for our ferry, service was excellent and food delicious. I think it would be a great way to catch the early cruise, hop off and spend time in Fremantle or Perth, depending which location you are leaving from.

Our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable.
Visited 3 Swan valley wineries, a Gin Distillery, and a chocolate shop.
Tasted some very nice wines accompanied by cheese boards.
