Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- IBenevolentDictatorIPerth396 contributionsCable Beach is unquestionably stunning and a must see even during the wet season. There are many reasons to love Cable Beach but during the wet season (including that there a relatively few people), one of the reasons to love Cable Beach is the fine white sand closer to the ocean is flat and firm - great to walk or run along (see pictures attached). There is also the crab artwork to enjoy (see picture). However, during my last two vacations to Cable Beach during the wet season, the sand hasn't been firm enough to make for an easy run where I liked to run along the beach. That's because I normally head to the left for my runs. However, I've recently discovered that if I head to the right, the sand is flat and firm and perfect for an early morning or evening run. So I recommend that if the sand on one side of the beach isn't firm - you should try the other side.Written 11 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Paul SAlice Springs, Australia229 contributionsAmazing views of the rock formations with the beautiful blue Indian Ocean as a backdrop. If know what you are looking for there are dinosaur prints to be found at low tide. A highlight was the plane flying overhead on its approach to the airport - I thought the sound was in the movie itself before the plane appeared overhead.Written 20 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Robyn WGreater Melbourne, Australia7 contributionsPleasant, need to watch the money situation if you eat out a lot, Business owners appeared friendly.A nice place that I enjoyed however I think this aspect is a bit overrated. Everything has to come together to get a good one.
Broome is nice but can be very expensive. Need to book well in advance if you want to ride the camels. Stayed in a caravan park, but as I have mentioned everything has to be planed and booked if you want to do tourist things.Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Amanda NWestern Australia, Australia115 contributionsWe enjoyed a wonderful winter break in Broome where winter doesn't exist! We got exceptionally good timing and weather (even the locals said so) and the beaches were lovey. Reddell Beach was great to walk along and enjoy the view while also spending time to chat and talk about so many things. It was very clearly marked, easy-ish to get to and we had a great time. Highly recommend you visit!Written 29 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- TWal1Canberra, Australia2,936 contributionsOur visit didn’t coincide with the full moon, so we missed the experience of the “stairway to heaven”. The Bay is expansive and the crystal blue water is a distinct feature. There are good views from both the viewing platform and other vantage points in Broome.Written 9 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. But what I got to see extra was worth the difference. As in we had 3 nights at both El Qeustro and the Bungle Bungles meaning 2 full days instead of 1 with 2 nights and although I missed out on seeing Lake Argyle the Ord River sunset trip 5 1/2 hours was amazing. I also had my 1st helicopter 🚁 ride over the Bungle Bungle. The Kimberley region should be on every Aussies bucket list. I'm going back to do lake Argyle from Darwin and see Katherine gorgeous then too. 😍Written 2 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
