Our pilot (thanks again, Freddie) was efficient, helpful, and regaled us with useful information along the way. He took us around the Horizontal Falls several times to ensure we all got the perfect view. The visit to the Hatchery was absolutely fascinating; our local guide was knowledgeable & gregarious; she introduced us to local marine wildlife & a potted history of the local peoples & this business especially. Don’t forget to have a swim in the warm sea. The flight back along the beach was also beautiful.

Although the weather was perfect, Mother Nature let us down with the horizontal falls not being too active but it didn’t dampen our spirits as it was still wonderful to see. Special shout out to our pilot Marius who made us all feel comfortable and safe throughout the scenic flight. We hope you win the beers mate! Also Terry and the team at Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm put on a great lunch and informative tour. The Bungle Bungles were fascinating and beautiful. We also learned a little about the local flora and fauna. - Kerrie DMelbourne193 contributionsThis is amazing day trip. First of all the fantastic office girls did their utmost to get us into a flight as there has to be a minimum of 4 people. We had 2 days booked that were cancelled due to the other couple cancelling. Third time lucky we finally flew yesterday. The 2 hour flight up to Mitchell Plateau was incredible. I just didn't know where to look..... and photos..... let's just say, between my husband on one side and me on the other, we took a lot. After landing at the MF airstrip we had morning tea at the "Departure/Arrival Lounge and then headed 30 minutes down a rough 4WD track to the campground. After a 5 minute helicopter flight, with wonderful views we landed. We walked to the viewing points of the Falls with Aaron, our Pilot/guide and it was stunning. I couldn't stop looking at it or taking photos. After we got back to the shelter. we crossed the river and had a lovely lunch under a shady tree and some had a swim. It was time to board the helicopter again for more views on the way back to the 4WD and the drive back to the plane. After arvo tea we finished the day off with the flight back to Broome. Lots of beautiful views of the coast and lots more photo taking. A huge thanks to our Pilot Aaron. Couldn't have asked for a better guy. Also, more huge thanks to Ash for picking us up and returning us to the CP. I would also like to thank Emily and Shawnee in the office for finally getting us onto a tour. We did the all day tour and really enjoyed the pearl farm and Aquaculture segments. Trip was above and beyond our expectations. Highly recommend this trip. The aboriginal communities were interesting as was the pearl farm. - JB@2London, UK9 contributionsGreat service, pick up on time, friendly professional staff. Thoughtful customer service with water bottles on way out eith map of route, cold towels, cold drink on return and the cold bottle and bottle holder as a momentum of the day.
Pilot Aran very personable but extremely focused on the importance of the job in hand. Commentary good but hard to hear, headphones were very tight and clarity often very unclear.
Pearl farm interesting and lunch very good.
Scenery and sights were diverse and many amazing I.e. Horizontal Falls.
Would recommend, great day, great organisation.
