Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- dmdemBallarat, Australia66 contributionsWe had heard that taxis were hard to find in Broome, but we booked one and received a booking confirmation as well as a text about 10 minutes prior to it arriving. It was clean and comfortable and the driver was fantastic and chatted to us about Broome. I’m not sure of the driver’s name but he has a ponytail and he deserves a shout out for friendliness. It was a lot quicker and cheaper for us than catching the shuttle as we were near Town Beach. We would definitely use this company again.Written 8 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Judith KPukekohe, New Zealand320 contributionsWe stayed at an Airbnb in Broome. Very reliant on taxis. First afternoon in Broome, we ordered a taxi to pick us up at 5pm to go to Cable Beach. Office woman confirmed that was locked in. We waited, taxi didn't come, rang office, they rang taxi driver, who was taking someone else to where we wanted to go but they were not picked up from our address. Taxi came half an hour late and driver was just grumpy. Said there's a cruise ship in tomorrow and most drivers are having a day off today. Felt bad for asking him to drive us 4 kms. Lucky we were on a tour the next day or we'd never have got a taxi! The last full day we met taxi driver - Tony and he became our go to driver. Just rang his direct number anytime we needed to go anywhere. Thanks Tony from 2 flightless kiwis.Written 5 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Liam Q1 contributionA pleasant experience and the staff were great. Not the best experience from a dietary perspective though. I am coeliac and medically my food must be gluten free. This was made known well in advance. When I first found out I was coeliac (20-odd years ago) there was little awareness in restaurants and the standard approach for desserts was either ice-cream or fruit salad. Thankfully things have moved on since then with many food items being made GF for everyone as there's often little difference in cost and it's easier to manage. Not so here and it feels like a throwback to the coeliac dark ages. The choice for me for dessert - ice cream or fruit salad. Not the greatest of feelings when everyone around you is consuming what looks like beautiful desserts like "death by chocolate" and cheesecake - and you have a dollop of ice-cream in front of you! The entree and main was great so maybe I'm being picky but this cruise isn't cheap and I paid the same as everyone else! I've also been on many similar cruises elsewhere where you are truly cared and provided for. GF items are often not on the menu due to the limitations of space on a boat, but a phone call beforehand and you usually find that they have a great selection of GF items available on demand. I hope Archipelago Adventures update their dietary offerings so that people with special dietary needs don't feel like second class citizens as in the bad old days.
Even when it came to the cheese board, the cheeses themselves were great but no sign of GF crackers. When I asked Sean, he said that he had done the shopping for the trip and could easily have bought some but no one had told him there was a need. He said he would check this out in future - I hope so!
I don't want to this to take away from the experience of the cruise itself. The staff were great, Sean in particular! At least I avoided gluten and its awful consequences for someone like me.Written 21 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We motored out from cable beach and had the option to swim in the boom net.
Canapés were served and drinks were available to purchase onboard
The sails went up and as the sun went down we sipped on our drinks
sailing along cable beach and watched the sky give us a spectacular sunset.
Food was great, staff were friendly

The boom net was a hit with my daughter, she loved it. The cocktails and mocktails were also a hit, just delicious.
It was a little crowded moving around the vessel at times but worth it for the beautiful sunset and relaxing afternoon. Would definitely go again.Written 2 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
