Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- AllWorldWondersSydney, Australia22 contributionsSo I finally made it to Melbourne! What a beautiful city after the last few weeks exploring Sydney and its surroundings - everyone has been telling me I would love Melbourne so much more because it has more of a European feel. 100% correct. Really love this city and can't wait to explore more of it.Written 2 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - laurayinmayBangkok, Thailand1,461 contributionsThe night market is fun fun fun, lots of things to eat not cheap but it's a fun people gathering spot with many types of food on display and for sale. The daytime market ends before noon so go early grab some seafood, boreks, coffees, the famous donuts, the mussels all good clean safe fun. It felt very clean, pricey of course but clean and safe. Worth the trip to have a look see and a spot of food.Written 8 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Aditya MKathmandu, Nepal134 contributionsWe had booked the ticket online so it was really easy for to get in. The zoo is very big and divided into various sections. We didn't specifically do any tour as we just walked around the entire zoo area. We saw a wide variety of animals and they were well taken care of as well. We did see a lot of families with kids exploring the place. Most of the animals were visible however, the kangaroos were just sleeping so couldn't see them hoping around.
The best thing was seeing the giraffes going about their daily things. There is a cafe right next to the giraffe section so you can order your drinks while admiring them. There is a completely different section for butterflies as well. We were also able to see little penguins as well.
Overall, the zoo experience was really amazing for us.Written 26 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Upon arrival it wasn’t quite clear where to show our tickets, turns out we had to walk past the main desk and go down escalators. The exhibition was great. We used the toilets and lockers and both were clean and functioning.Written 24 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CarloHelmondHelmond, The Netherlands725 contributionsWe arrived early in the morning when things were not busy yet. From the outside it is not really clear how big this place is or what is all inside. Feel free to explore at your own pace and learn about the conflicts Australia has been part of. Walk to the top and have a look outside. It gives you a nice view of the skyline of MelbourneWritten 28 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - S KSingapore, Singapore428 contributionsDecent sized arcade with interesting architecture. Shops on both sides, selling mainly higher value products. We had high tea at the English tea room. Very English decor cafe with pretty delicious pastries that cost $$$. But a good break to rest our legs and relax in this pretty cafe.Written 13 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kathleen sAshburton, Canterbury, New Zealand315 contributionsreally interesting and a highlight of our time in Melbourne. Good displays and informative panels. The 'mood' lighting really helped to set the scene. Staff seemed friendly and encouraged people to stay for a long time, which we did just reading and soaking in the atmosphere. We had a few issues with downloading the audio guide but got there in the end, maybe a laminated handout which could be returned would be more user friendly as it is hard listening and taking photos with a phone. appreciated that the hanging story didnt become ghoulish.Written 28 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - John T2 contributionsAmazing experience, so many exhibits, our grandsons aged 10 and 12 loved it. We took lots of photos. Very, very clever, I have never seen anything like this before, and I have been to plenty of art exhibitions and shows. Worth every cent.Written 11 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SivzSydney, Australia186 contributionsWhat a building, and what a view from level 6 and walk your way down!! There is a classy formal area that's obviously the main attraction and original area and there is also the modern study space available too. Gave me the Harry Potter vibe but stunning set up.Written 14 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Parking is free before 11am other than that parking costs a few dollars.
