Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is a very good stadium in the wrong place. Easy to get to. Disabled access is limited but dooabke. Food was good and reasonable price.

I found Southern Cross Station to be a superb hub, and one which rendered my transport experiences pleasurable, which is often not the case in various cities. The Bus bays for departures to and arrivals from Melbourne's Tullamarine Airport were clearly marked.

We took the Ferry from Docklands to Portarlington and back for the Mussel festival. The trip was brilliant and staff were lovely. The times had to be changed due to a ferry being unavailable, and that was managed very well and professionally by Port Philip Ferries. Unfortunately one of our group jumped the gun and commented negatively about this change and I’ve just found a phone message from the company offering further apologies and explanation, which was unnecessary but demonstrates the level of service. We’re now considering future ferry adventures given the enjoyable day and ease of travel.

Was a great stadium for the concert. The roof was closed in about 20 minutes when the rain came down midway through the concert. Patience is needed to exit.

The Skybus is on par with most places in the world- it offers a consistent service to the airport throughout the day.

Their staff are professional- courteous and helpful. The service continues to get busier over time which means they need to adapt with the times- and they have. Kiosks line Southern Cross that are easy to follow enabling you with a self serve option.

Other than the inevitable confusion as you arrive at the airport and the customers appear baffled with the departure options... this service always runs well.

A very small museum. Entry is free. Some fun activities, which were interesting and easily accessible as the museum was very quiet when I went.

We all had fun but it all adds up to a pricey activity but the smiles, laughter and fun somehow make it all worthwhile. And the kids definitely like to go back.

From citylink to get there, to $16carparking across the road, tickets (online is $1 cheaper, we brought our own skates but they are $5 to hire/pair,$4 locker hire/3hrs, $4 spectator fee (free cuppa voucher)

Cafe is reasonable. $3toastie, $4cuppa, $5fries. We also brought our own food and drinks, there are lots of seats around the rink.

Annual memberships are on offer to bring down ticketing price (details online).

Parent with <8yo child can have a heavily discounted tickets for them both on weekend mornings with a special fun program to increase confidence on ice.very handy.

Inside the building is COLD. Warm clothing for spectators will make it comfortable for them. Layered clothing for skaters will be handy.

You're allowed to step outside for an hour to have a break, just need your ticket timed and signed.

$15/pair to resharpen blades at the shop. They have discount cards for repeat customers and as I had 3 pairs sharpened that day, they gave me a discount on the spot and I only paid $37. A nice surprise.

Visited a few times during my recent stay in Melbourne. I was staying not far away and found the Coles Supermarket a convenient place to shop.

This area is in the free tram zone and we took 86 down and 30 out. There is plenty of good walking around here and we enjoyed the breeze on this hot day.

Living in the Docklands I feel privileged to have this amazing library so close and easily accessible.

With over three floors the access to digital media and other resources such as magazines, newspapers and the like is incredible.
The views across the Harbour are yet another good reason to pay a visit!

Thee is a nice coffee shop downstairs so all in all, definitely a place to “check out” some books!

We spent a couple days in a condo in Docklands and we enjoyed the area. We had great morning and nighttime views of the harbor from our condo.

The tram stop was right in front of our building and a convenient way to connect to Melbourne.

Shops and restaurants were minutes away along with Marvel stadium.

Worth considering a stay here if you want to get away from downtown.

Contrary to many other bridges in Melbourne, this is a very modern one. You come across it when walking from Docklands to Southbank.
