Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of the best things we did in Melbourne. Kids loved it. The pictures turned out amazing. Would 100 percent recommend.

This was a very enjoyable first experience on Port Phillip Ferries to Portarlington and back to Docklands. The ferry was on schedule and was very clean and well appointed. The staff were courteous and helpful, and we would definitely take the trip across the bay again.

Great concert venue. Food a little overpriced but that’s to be expected (unfortunately) these days. Very easy to arrive via tram. Parking looked very problematic at the end for
    People leaving.

We all had fun but it all adds up to a pricey activity but the smiles, laughter and fun somehow make it all worthwhile. And the kids definitely like to go back.

From citylink to get there, to $16carparking across the road, tickets (online is $1 cheaper, we brought our own skates but they are $5 to hire/pair,$4 locker hire/3hrs, $4 spectator fee (free cuppa voucher)

Cafe is reasonable. $3toastie, $4cuppa, $5fries. We also brought our own food and drinks, there are lots of seats around the rink.

Annual memberships are on offer to bring down ticketing price (details online).

Parent with <8yo child can have a heavily discounted tickets for them both on weekend mornings with a special fun program to increase confidence on ice.very handy.

Inside the building is COLD. Warm clothing for spectators will make it comfortable for them. Layered clothing for skaters will be handy.

You're allowed to step outside for an hour to have a break, just need your ticket timed and signed.

$15/pair to resharpen blades at the shop. They have discount cards for repeat customers and as I had 3 pairs sharpened that day, they gave me a discount on the spot and I only paid $37. A nice surprise.

Centrally located with easy access to lots of hotels, dining & retail nearby. There is a mid sized COLES supermarket nearby. The only stop for the Airport Skybus - great that the alighting & drop off points are sheltered inside the station.

Was a great stadium for the concert. The roof was closed in about 20 minutes when the rain came down midway through the concert. Patience is needed to exit.

We really enjoyed our visit. The museum is conveniently located a short walk from Southern Cross station. All of the displays are very well presented and very interesting. The staff were friendly and helpful. There are several interactive exhibits that should appeal to both young and old. An added bonus is it is free entry. Definitely worth a visit.

Great amenities, friendly staff, close to restaurants and cafes. Nice walks along the board walk and easy access to the city for events.

Wow most excellent service ever. Everything so well organized and controlled. Feel like a 10 star. Bus staff made sure assistance was provided to people with heavy luggage and all seats properly filled. Thank you well done

Visited a few times during my recent stay in Melbourne. I was staying not far away and found the Coles Supermarket a convenient place to shop.

Library at the Dock makes Docklands a more inviting place to live. Apart from books, it has a diverse range of formats for borrowers. Today there was 'playgroup for babies,' most of whom were 6 to 12 months old. The talented storyteller made the babies playgroup fun for everyone. The Melbourne City Council keeps the Library spick and span. It's certainly on the Dock, and it's easy to get to.

This area is in the free tram zone and we took 86 down and 30 out. There is plenty of good walking around here and we enjoyed the breeze on this hot day.

My wife and I walked from Flinders Street train station, along the riverfront to cross this bridge to get to Docklands. We spent a day in the city, had lunch and visited a few places before attending a musical performance at Hamer Hall at The Arts Centre.

The views from this bridge are scenic. The Spring weather was very nice.

Besides the renovations going on you can still go in and check this cute place out...
sadly the outside has bits sprayed all over it because history should be left alone but guess that’s life.
The chapel to enter 💒 just go up to the bar and someone will let you in,
grab a drink while your there.
The history is great and when you see old pics you can imagine how it was, spend around 30 mins to go though.
