I checked the tour website and it said cancellations should be done 24 hours in advance. I also checked the website and it said the tours were operated rain or shine. I incorrectly assumed there was no chance for cancellation or refund, so I didn’t try to get a refund. That was a mistake on my part. I had heard it was very difficult to get a refund from TripAdvisor. After the trip, James at Blue Tongue contacted me and recommended I request a refund through TripAdvisor and he later followed up again. I requested a refund on TripAdvisor, and received a reply immediately (1 minute) James at Blue Tongue approved it immediately and I received a confirmation from TripAdvisor that the refund would go to my CC in 3-5 days.
I consider this exceptional response and service!!! He is personable and knowledgeable as well as really good conversationalist. We had a previous tour of the city but Stefano really brought the city to life for us.
