Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Melbourne tram network is excellent, in particular the free trams in the city area. One trip was spoilt by seeing a network map graffitied by some idiot ,see photo. What type of absolute juvenile mentality would do this ?

This is a public service on a tight schedule, so (a) the time you get at the key spots is REALLY short, you may need to run around a bit to make it (b) if you’re not back on time, it WILL leave (c) if there’s a delay en route (e.g. traffic), it will simply cut stop time to make up for it (e.g. ours skipped the stop at the Bay Of Islands to recover 15min). That said, it is much cheaper than commercial tours, so depends what your priorities are.

Took my first free scooti taxi ride tonight. Surprising enjoyable and a good experience tbh. Driver gave me a promo code too for $5 unlimited rides so super cheap compared to everyone else. Don’t understand how they can make money when it’s unlimited but driver was happy and said he gets paid anyway. Win win! Promo Code is “ BLUE3 “ if anyone wants it.

I have lived in Melbourne for a little over three months and get the train from Laverton into the city most days. The service is okay. There have been delays but it mostly runs on time. The trains are generally clean and graffiti free. The vast majority of passengers do the right thing but you can’t help the grubs.
