Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Been to a handful of plays in my life and was a little sceptical as to how they would portray magic ina theatre but some amazing effects and a great story

We were staying at the Marriott, so this was super convenient. The magician was very engaging, there were cool illusions, and our whole crew (ages 17-51) had a great time.

This is an opportunity to step back to the time where magic was relatively close up, full of wonder, fun and straight forward. This is magic where the skill is in the performers rather than high tech gadgets.
It looked to me that everyone was smiling as they left the theatre and had had a good night out.
Good for pretty much all ages

We purchased the VIP tickets for 6 as last time they were here we did the same and it was of great value. The buffet was amazing with 3 lines going so hardly had to wait to be served. The beer and wine was unlimited. It was a real VIP package. However this year was a big disappointment. The buffet was less than desirable with only one line open to serve and therefore a large line up. The selection of menu items did not measure up to a VIP menu. The beef served was so tough to cut that eating it was impossible. Salads not tasty at all. The shrimp and salmon were fine however for those that don't like seafood there was little for them to enjoy. Plus this time they limited every one to only 4 drinks which I thought was ridiculous as in the one and half hours it is rather difficult for the average person to even drink that much so why cheapen the evening by putting a limit, especially since one is paying $100.00 extra for the VIP evening. We were all very disappointed and certainly know we will not buy VIP tickets again. Just not worth it. Big disappointment !!!

Great musical of The Seeker's climb to fame & an insightful journey portrayed of how they got there. Full of talent and laughs! Great well known "the world over" songs & harmonies portrayed by convincing and great musicians. Treat yourself to this extravaganza & tap your feet along - you'll be sure to know all the words of the songs! Great footage of original newsreel too, costumes, trivia from the era & dancing from the good old 60s - all very entertaining! Lots of laughs! Recommend it highly to all who love a good story & good music.

This was a few of our groups second visit to Princess within 9 months. All were concerned that the show would be the same. Well- we were delighted with the fresh new changes made to the show. A few of the more mature ladies were worried with the show content.... I was more than happy to point out it was very tastefully done and the dances all being very easy on the eyes with great moves! At the end of the night these lovely ladies were all converted!! We had a disabled Lady with us (in a wheel chair) and she was delighted that a dancer came off stage and gave her a kiss!! THANK YOU...you made her night perfect! I would not hesitate to return to see my Favourite -The Prince of Passion. My daughter was on stage for The Dirty Dancing section and totally enjoyed herself. Ladies this is must do at least once! I will be back..great laughs and humour in the show! Thank you to all that put the show together. You do an amazing job!!

Established 20 years ago with Commonwealth of Australia funding and with the former South Melbourne Town Hall provided by the Government of Victoria. ANAM takes elite classical music students for a 12 month intensive course and the students often preform in the hall for the public for free. It does not get any better than that. Close to the No 12 and No 96 tram routes and near cafes and restaurants in Bank St and Clarendon St.

This was a last-minute decision to go to see this in Sydney and we are really pleased we did as we had a brilliant time. Jason Donovan and the rest of the performers were fabulous and we had such fun.

This was a highlight adventure for me. What more can I say? Over two hours with strangers trying to solve a crime, solving clues along the way to get to your next clue, nibbles to eat along the way, amazing actors/actresses and some people we suspected who were and weren't left our group of ten fairly quickly.....Mission is to find money gone missing....walking all over Melbourne (well I wheel chaired by hubby) on a beautiful day, it was one of the best most unique experiences I have attended in Melbourne. Highly recommend whether a local or visitor. I learned so much about Melbourne I didn't know. It was fun, it was an adventure, it was humorous, it was mysterious, and the ending hilarious.....Don't hesitate book now, you won't regret! The customer service is fantastic. They will go out of their way to help you attend if possible, even went so far as to email us all to see if we could change time by 15 minutes, as another couple were booked into a live show. Highly highly recommend everyone should do this.

Tet, as Vietnamese new year is called, falls on 12 February 2021, the first day of the Lunar New Year. The Vietnamese use the same calendar as Chinese societies, but Tet is very different to Chinese New Year. Tet runs for three days. Tet has a number of unique customs, such as eating pickled onions and chung cake, which is made of pork, green beans and glutinous rice. The Vietnamese zodiac is similar to the Chinese zodiac, but not exactly the same. This year is the Year of the Buffalo. Families will come together for a banquet on New Year's Eve. Cities with large Vietnamese populations will set off fireworks. In the Melbourne suburb of Footscray, which has a large Vietnamese population, Barkly Street will be closed of at night for a Tet festival.

Hoi Polloi means, in Greek, the common people, the rabble, the noisy crowd. In English, hoi polloi has negative connotations. Hoi Polloi is an avante guard theatre company based in the Younghusband building. The Younghusband building is large, it is a former wool-store. It is now being re-purposed as a home for creative enterprises. The best way to gain information about Hoi Polloi is on Facebook; its shows sell out quickly.

Friendly, helpful service. Good food. Lovely ambience. When they realised it was my partners birthday, they wrote his name on the plate in chocolate plus a glass of champagne. These are special touches that help make an Occassion memorable.
