Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great, fun adventure playground full of slides, castles, sandboxes, an in-ground trampoline, a basketball court, and assorted old (and sometimes broken) toys. Based on other reviews I was afraid it would be a little more dangerous (especially for really little ones), but it was not bad as long as you supervise. My children loved it, so we went multiple times (our lodging was nearby). Not worth a journey from far out, but definitely worth going to if you are nearby. Check their hours though, because it is not open often.

Not an attraction that’s worth a visit on its own but well worth a look if at nearby bowls club or St Vincent Garden. Close to light rail tram stop

The playground was very busy this Sunday morning. Small children were running wild, with parents calm with the high fences keeping them from running on the road.

The Old Foundry Site is a park and community garden close to South Melbourne Town Hall. It is hidden down lane ways and you could be mistaken for feeling you had entered someone's backyard. It is a small park with some seating. I think on the summer evenings local people would emerge and it might be a way of making new friends.

Lovely little reserve with huge mature palm trees and flowers.

    Good spot for a picnic.

Not much in way of facilities
