Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

During our tours to Australia, we visited the Crown Casino in Melbourne and the Star Casino in Sydney.

In my previous overseas tours, I had visited casinos in Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Auckland, Macao, Genting and on board Star Cruise but have yet to visit the two casinos of my own country which are Marina Bay Sands and the Resorts World Sentosa casinos. I am discouraged by the entry fee of S$100/- to $150/- that was imposed on Singaporeans to deter compulsive gambling.

Crown Casino is the largest casino complex in the southern hemisphere and one of the largest casinos in the world.

The staff at Crown Casino were very courteous, confident and helpful. One staff cordially invited us to their gas brigade firework display at 8 pm from their towers along the Yarra River.

I sought their advice on photo-taking. We are allowed to take photos of the casino as long as we do not take the photos of their staff and patrons.

Star Casino, on the other hand, disallowed any photo-taking of their gaming area. But the harborview outside Star casino was stunning.

The firework display at the towers were computerised and spectacular on a cold night. We felt the instant warmness once it was ignited followed by the strong petrol smell of the dark smoke.

Some of my friends tried their luck on the pokie machines and had some fun. I wandered around to appreciate the enormous size of the Crown Casino and was tired after few rounds of walking.

It was impressive but the casino is not my taste.

I've been coming to this arcade for years and have a blast every time. On previous occasions I've come with friends and family of all ages, and they all report having fun. It's definitely worth loading your card with one of the pay $X, get $X for free options, as most games are $2.50 each, so if you only load $20 or $30 you run out very quickly. As it can be expensive, I don't visit often. It's definitely worth saving your points if you plan on coming back as the 'good' prizes start at around 2500-3000 points. Only negative is that the cafe is far too expensive - if you're looking for food there are cafes and McDonalds nearby.

The atmosphere in the escape room was great because of the tension it created and the special effects that were used.

Games were really expensive. Minimum of $2 per game. We spent almost 200 in total. But the kids had fun. Food wasn’t so great would recommend to eat elsewhere before coming here.

Go here. The staff were kind, the food was good. Same with the computers. Heavily recommend Zen Gaming Lounge.

One adult and three boys - 13, 12, 10 - had a very enjoyable time at Holey Moley yesterday. Reasonably priced - total cost $80 for 18 holes. With 3 boys, it was very competitive. After the first 9 holes, it was decided that we would NOT keep score! We liked that it was not too busy and holes could be replayed, out of order. It only took us just over an hour but could have taken much longer if it was busier. It's hard to find an activity to suit different ages but the boys certainly had fun.

My friend and I went to Village Cinemas Crown Gold Class to see Dr Strange Multiverse of Madness. All in all it was a decent experience.

    However:
We were not shown to a table in the foyer, rather straight to our seats and made to order there, which is fine, but there was plenty of time to enjoy service outside the cinema too.

When we did push the service button from the cinema as instructed, it took a fair while for anyone to attend to us and take our order. While multiple staff members were bringing in more guests.

The seats, compared to other Village Cinemas Gold Class locations, were different, and not as comfortable. Also, unlike the 'Welcome to Gold Class' commercial at the beginning suggests, there is no compartment to store your belongings on the outer arm for each guest, there is a small, single compartment between the pair of you.

Those are all minor issues though, and I would highly recommend attending a Gold Class screening if you can.
