- Andrew JCobram, Australia5 contributionsWe did the Gaol Break room, we were a little nervous as had only done escape rooms as part of a bigger group (was just 2 of us). Without spoiling the room i felt like it worked perfectly and the staff flashed up a hint on a screen when we got stuck.
Room had some clever puzzles, and staff were excellent. He absolutely loved it and our game master made him feel so important and part of our team. The room was scary, and well put together, the challenges were fun, we escaped with only one hint (we didn't find it too challenging)
The staff were good at the start, however when we escaped we felt they weren't really interested in talking to us, just said thanks cya later, (most times the staff at other places have been keen for a genuine chat about the room and what not) was all good though I suppose we paid for the escape room not to talk to the staff,
Was a good room though, definitely the favourite out of the 5 or so I've done

The 8year old was able to participate although got a bit bored by the end as she wasn’t able to help us when we got stuck. 11 year old loved it as did mum and dad. Birthday boy had great fun too.
Was fairly expensive for our family to do and a drink afterwards added to that expense - but was needed by us all.

There was music playing and from the moment we arrived there was excitement in the air. The team was great at building the hype. Great puzzels. So much fun! You get immediately immersed in it all and a great team thing to crack the puzzles. The staff were really nice, friendly and informative. We booked well in advance and was made to wait over 40 minutes before being escorted to the escape rooms. The room itself could use some updating. The clues were not great and one was broken so we wasted loads of time on that. The staff could be better with their enthusiasm and communication. - RoamingDLos Angeles, CA52 contributionsWe’ve done a lot of escape rooms, but this was the first in which the room gave feedback. The ghostly companion let us know when we had something right or wrong, which was quite helpful. The room was a little glitchy though and, while warned, we got stuck because a drawer didn’t open. We did try joggling it as instructed, to no avail. We apparently needed to be firmer with our desire for it to open. Due to that, we ran out of time. At the end, we were only 1 move away from completion, which is pretty good for a team of 2.
