We enjoyed our time in Healsville Sanctuary and the lunch at Yering Station is nice. The wine and cheese pairing at De Bortoli was incredible. Highly recommended to anyone who is planning a trip to Melbourne. - Eadair D2 contributionsGreat experience! Myself and 3 friends attended the wine tour in Yarra Valley yesterday and had an amazing time! There was a great variety of wineries for the wine tasting and we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Soumah winery 😃 (definitely recommend the fish). The experts at the wine tastings really knew their stuff and we came away from it knowing a lot more about the wine making process & industry in general. The scenery is beautiful and the bus journey and transport was very smooth (left on time and got home on time). Our driver Verity was so kind, knowledgeable and friendly and made the process even more enjoyable! It's super well organised and gives you a great opportunity for more flexibility with the wineries you'd like to visit. Jon is the most accommodating host and went out of his way to make everyone feel welcomed and in good spirts. He even dropped my Mum off at my house which was greatly appreciated! Our trip to Melbourne and Mornington Peninsula were unforgettable, especially the unexpected delight of touring top-notch wineries. From Yabby Lake Vineyard to Crittenden Estate, Queally Vineyard, lunch at Merricks General Store, Stonier Wines, and Ten Minutes by Tractor, each moment was enhanced by Paul's dedicated efforts. If I ever return to Melbourne, I'll contact Paul again to explore more of Mornington Peninsula's hidden gems. Once I settle back into my routine after the trip, I'll share more details, but for now, a big shout out to Paul for making our wine tour both safe and fun.
