Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- VescenceSydney, Australia293 contributionsLittle gem located in narrow Melbourne alleyway.. Amaaazing massage/treatment, just enough pressure to loosen my shoulder knots and sooo relaxing at the same time .. Honami was fantastic !!
For Melbourne visitors like us, who wanted to break up the food, shopping and Melbourne sights, Highly recommended if you just want a good massage, spoil a (fussy 😉) husband and avoid the fancy spa costs (and I’ve been to a few) !
Tip: For 2.5hrs of bliss ..
Try the perfect harmony package - foot massage (30min) , hot stone body massage(90min) with shiatsu head massage (30min) - Great value for

It is a beautiful place, very relaxing from the minute you walk in the door. The massage therapists at Aroma Thai have excellent skills and adjust massage pressure as needed. I had Coco as my therapist this time and thought she was amazing!! A must visit in Melbourne.Written 2 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Orhan ECanberra, Australia10 contributionsOne of the best deep tissue massages I have ever had, among those I had in Indonesia and Thailand. Very professional and flawless technique. Too bad I don’t live in Melbourne otherwise I’d be a regular here. Highly recommendWritten 21 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maria LPerth, Australia26 contributionsYou will get to know your friend on a completely different level and I mean, mind, body and soul. There is no room for those that are body conscious and if you are, you won't be for long. I have never felt cleaner or more at peace. Try it!Written 10 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- charlottaMelbourne, Australia177 contributionsI come here frequently but this time I tried a new treatment GANMEN Hogushi Treatment 1.5 h. Fantastic. I did this with add-on foot massage 30 min and head massage 10 min. Can’t recommend enough. I have found the perfect combo. The fave massage with oil is so great - the way the movements just relaxes and soothe you - I was fully relaxed after. I have also tried the shiatsu ( dry massage ) and it is equally fabulous.Written 25 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marianne A1 contributionSharon was an incredible massage therapist, very attentive and thorough and I felt so relaxed and rejuvenated after our session. I would definitely recommend Sharon for anyone wanting to get their money's worth from a massage.Written 13 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Aisha W2 contributionsI loved it! The oxygen tank was so refreshing. First 30 min was very relaxing and the last 30 min was when I had a lot of ideas come to me about my life and what I wanted. I then went in the sauna for an hour and that was also very healing. I felt great afterwards and would recommend again. Yet to try the float tank but that’s us next on my list.Written 3 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Fleur20 contributionsI had the most amazing experience with Honoka. Two and half hours of pure indulgence with a very sweet and respectful lady. The premises was extremely clean, serene and exquisitely set up. It was surprisingly big upstairs. My one hour facial was hands on from start to finish. Not like some places that slap on some cream and leave the room to let it ‘soak in’. Nobody in and out of the room to get things, I had her full attention. They provide lockers and you keep the key in the beautiful robe you get to wear between treatments. Best value for money I found with a superior experience. Will definitely go back.Written 12 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Hannah1 contributionWe had Belinda and Sarah come give us a couples massage on the weekend. Some of the best massages we have had. - Jeffry bEssendon, Australia13,836 contributionsThe historic city baths opened in 1904, and were extensively renovated in the 1980s. They are good for a swim, and they are on Swanston St, easily accessible by tram, although parking can be an issue. The Melbourne City Baths are useful if you are staying in the CBD.Written 18 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Shweta LMelbourne, Australia1,777 contributionsGot a crown spa voucher from some friends for a special milestone bday. It's a very nice way to celebrate a special occasion. I used my voucher for the 30 min Himalayan salt exfoliation followed by the 75 min hot stone massage. My therapist Linh was wonderful, very friendly & professional. Have wanted to experience this spa for a while so glad I finally got to. Enjoyed the experience overall, very expensive treatments so won't be a regular, but a nice way to spoil yourself or someone else as a once off.Written 8 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bec2602Melbourne, Australia10 contributionsIt was 90 minutes of bliss with Hong as the therapist. My shoulders moved from my ears back down to where shoulders should sit with Hong finding every knot I had hidden away after far too long without some Stable Massage magic.
Hong was exceptional, I particularly liked her shoulder / neck / head work and the feet - whoah the feet, I drifted to a heavenly place!
The CBD location is very convenient and an oasis of tranquility.Written 28 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
