Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As jewellery shops go, this is by a land slide the best I've ever been into. The thing is, its not just a jewellery store, it's drenched in history, family run with heaps of character.
Upon arrival to the store you'll be shown the different types of Opals with a very informative introduction to the history and grading. Shout out to Stuart, who really took the time to show me around the store. Loved every second. Also to Kira for being so welcoming.
This is as much an attraction as a jewellery store. The pieces are stunning, and from what I was told they have some of the best in the city.

I must mention Stumpy the lizard, who I can only assume is the mascot.

Thank you both for your time and patience, I will definitely be returning sometime soon.

This is a cute shop that sells upper priced chocolate and is packaged very nicely. They will offer you a free dark or milk peice of chocolate.

We stopped by on our way to the NGV and bought a 1/2 dozen bon bons. Service was efficient and there were a wide variety of chocolates. We enjoyed the salted caramel and forest fruit cream.

Located just nxt to Myer, similar to Myer as a departmental store.

We came here on a Thursday afternoon and was told the closing time is at 9pm tonight.

We drop in every time we pass. The staff are super-friendly and always offer us samples. Even if we spend $5 we don’t leave empty handed

I'd heard about Printism through friends that go to the Sth Melbourne market and wanted to see for myself.
Was very impressed with the amazing artwork, the variables in which you can get them framed etc and the level of knowledge about the works.
Can highly recommend a visit to the South Melb Market just to see the artwork and friendly team at Printism

It amazes me that this place isn’t overrun with people but I know why. It’s a little more difficult to find but worth it. Which is so typically Melbourne.....so many Dickensian side lanes.

If you love beautifully made, local craft with a design bent, this is your place. Party quirky partly elegant. Some of Melbournes better artists sell their stuff here. Jewellery and pottery is a key feature. Check out the ridiculously beautiful porcelain cups and saucers or vases by Vanessa Lucas for instance. Take home a unique present for someone back home that you can’t find elsewhere.

I always stop here when in Melbourne, my favorite hot chocolates, great to take away or dine in. Had one each day of my 4 day visit, always hot & delicious. On the last day my sister had an iced chocolate which was also delicious. Highly recommend.

This bookshop is for people who read for pleasure and enlightenment. Other bookshops often stock bestsellers that are here today and gone tomorrow. Readings has an extensive range of books that appeal to booklovers. It also has an extensive range of classics. If you are looking for a copy of "Anna Karenina" you will probably find it here. I don't even know the names of today's best-selling authors, there are only so many hours in the day, I prefer to spend my time reading something worthwhile.

Minotaur has an immense range of toys, figurines, games and books, aimed at young people. The younger set will find many treasures. My friend, who is into science fantasy, visits every week to keep up to date with new stock. Minotaur is hidden away in Little Collins St.

What an amazing book store. There must be thousands of cook books on just about every type of cuisine. If the customers ants to know how to make anything to do with food, go here.

Firstly Jess went out of her way to pick us up from our accomodation and then proceeded to discover what our shopping tastes were before taking us to many outlets. We got some great bargains and had a very enjoyable day, Jess is very patient and nothing was too much trouble.

A large retail store in the heart of Melbourne CBD. We came to the flagship store of one of their retailers to buy some shoes. Impressed that they offered special parking discounts. Definitely a one stop shop if you were planning to do lots of shopping in Melbourne.

Australian Natural Soap is fully vegan, it has no animal products such as bees' wax. The soap is palm oil free and cruelty free, the shop smells wonderfully fresh and clean. Australian National Soap is hand-made in Melbourne. The soap makes a wonderful souvenir of Australia.
