Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Leah S7 contributionsI've just returned from Roaring 40's 7-day kayak/camp expedition in Macquarie Harbour and up the Gordon River in SW Tasmania. It was a wonderful trip, fully immersed in this beautiful wilderness area. Our guides Ally and Mischa were organised, professional and knowledgeable. The kayaks and camping gear provided were good quality, and the food was tasty, fresh and plentiful. Pre-tour communication by Roaring 40's was also good. Highly recommend!Written 26 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Su GFremantle, Australia7 contributionsWe had an amazing experience on the 5 day Ningaloo paddle. We could not rate the location, our guide, the equipment and catering highly enough. Highly recommend this.Written 21 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Gwen HSydney, Australia132 contributionsI thoroughly enjoyed my 4-day trip with Andy & Vito as guides for Wild Pedder with Cody joining the group of 5 for 2 days too - we were the lucky ones to do first trip south-west after the bushfires. Mt Sprent walk was quite challenging especially going downhill with other walks in Mt Field very enjoyable and a fantastic day kayaking on Lake Pedder itself. The accommodation and transport were well organised and the meals including wine excellent. An added bonus was a wine tatsting at Meadowbank en route back to Hobart. I would highly recommend Wild Pedder.Written 14 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
