  • The ranking of tours, activities, and experiences available on Tripadvisor is determined by several factors including the revenue generated by Tripadvisor from these bookings, the frequency of user clicks, and the volume and quality of customer reviews. Occasionally, newly listed offerings may be prioritized and appear higher in the list. The specific placement of these new listings may vary.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Good way to see the city in a short time. I just did the loop which takes 90 minutes. The bus driver was very good. Arrive early for the first couple of departures of the day.

If I could give this 6 stars, I would. Easily the highlight of our Tasmania trip. Sam was a great tour guide and skipper. He was very energetic and polite, ensuring everyones comfort, safety and enjoyment on the boat. Sites were incredible and the view was even better. Boat was clean and toilets provided. 11/10, would recommend.

This has been my best tour in my entire life, Sam is really lovely taking care of every detail. It’s admirable that he does this tour from Hobart because it’s very far away, I think it’s excellent value for money, it’s an intense day, it must be tiring for Sam to arrive late every night after the tour, but with all his effort he makes it possible for all of us to enjoy.
Even being far away Sam left us enough time to enjoy that wonderful mountain and its landscapes. I also met wonderful people on this tour with very good vibes. I will never forget this day, thank you Sam for making me and many other people happy, I will be eternally grateful to you.

Lunch cruise was great with a good meal and excellent commentary as we travelled round the river and many sights were well explained in regard to the history of the place.

Spending the day with Rob tasting wines along the east coast of Tasmania was the PERFECT way to spend my birthday. Rob was happy to engage in whatever conversations we wanted to have along the way, from AFL to travel in Vietnam. And when my partner decided to nap on the drive back to Hobart, Rob kept me company! Would highly recommend.

I found the bus comfortable, clean and not crowded. Tony our driver was very knowledgeable and friendly willing to help with any enquiries. The scenery was beautiful and the weather spectacular. When atop Mt Wellington you could wander with leisure and enjoy the scenery. I would definitely recommend this trip if you only have a short period for your visit.

Fantastic experience on both buses -especially the Mount Wellington one. Driver Paul went above and beyond making a fun as well as informative trip! The hop on hop off was great for getting around easily to all the sites we wanted to visit.

We just finished the Super 7 tour of Tasmania. It was outstanding. Our group of 21 included a variety of ages from 20's to 70's (I'm 70) with the majority being young. We enjoyed our group very much. Each day offered a new adventure with some history, nature, and a few choices of hikes to accommodate different fitness levels. We were fortunate to have excellent weather throughout the tour.

The motels we stayed in were good enough. Many in our group stayed in hostels. The bus was a bit cramped but okay.

The real key to this tour was our exceptional guide, Evan. His infectious personality provided a relaxed atmosphere among the group. We laughed a lot. Evan did a fantastic job of providing appropriate information at exactly the right time. He advised us correctly about the difficulties of the various hikes and what to bring with us each day. Evan knows where all of the coffee shops, bakeries, and toilets ("lemon-squeezing stations) are in Tasmania. He is also knowledgeable about the history, flora, and fauna of Tasmania. Evan has so many great stories to tell.

This is an energetic tour. Some individual hikes last 3 to 4 hours. It might have been too difficult for us a few times except for Evan's advice and help. Somehow he has the ability to look after everyone in the group even when they are doing different activities or the same activity at a different pace. Amazing!

We are so glad that we toured Tasmania with Under Down Under and recommend it to you.

Cannot suggest taking a tour with wild Tasmania tours enough! Trent was an incredible tour guide who went above and beyond to give us the best tour of cradle mountain. Throughout the two whole days, Trent spoke with so much enthusiasm and passion about the wildlife and landscapes that Tasmania has to offer. We were also able to learn loads from him about the history behind some of the small towns and natural parks. Above all, the promise to see some of Australia's known for wildlife and mountain ranges up close was certainly fulfilled and would without a doubt sign up for another tour if given the opportunity! Thanks a million to wild Tasmania tours for an unforgettable trip to cradle mountain!

I've just returned from this trip and wanted to gush about it to keep the experience alive for a bit longer!
I went solo on this trip, but was immediately made feel welcome by our wonderful tour guide, Evan, and the rest of the group. Met such fun people who really made the experience even better! The sights ranged from rainforest waterfalls to mountain lakes to the turquoise of east coast waters. There was so much to see and I can't believe how much we managed to pack in in just 5 days -- yet without ever feeling rushed or short for time! They really know what they're doing, and years of experience running this tour really shows.
And a shoutout still for Evan, who was all smiles and positive energy throughout the whole trip. He would tell us interesting stories about the locales, about the flora and fauna -- and he was also great at informing us about the plans for the days (where we'd grab food, where we could take a bathroom break), so it was easy to plan ahead. He was genuine and you could tell he loved his job. His energy was infectious. We got incredibly lucky with the weather, but I have my suspicion that Evan had some hand in that, too... Wouldn't put it past such an A+ tour guide.

This is such a great way to get the highlights of beautiful Tasmania in a short time, while also meeting like-minded people to share the experience with. Definitely recommend!

I am so glad we did this walk, our guide was informative and had interesting anecdotes.
We were shown buildings that we wouldn't have been able to see on our own.

The trip to Mt. Wellington was amazing with spectacular views and many trails getting you into nature. The trip to Richmond needs no more than an hour unless you enjoy going in and out of small shops. The bridge and Catholic Church is worth a view. The shuttle company can drop you off at a nearby winery after an hour in Richmond if you enjoy wine tasting and then pick you back up at the winery on there return trip to Hobart.

The scenery was absolutely amazing. My personal favorites were Wine Glass Bay, Cradle Mountain, and the beach at Bay of Fires but all of the destinations and activities were worthwhile. So many rain forests, water falls, mountains and lake destinations. Our guide and driver Evan was so upbeat and energetic, always ensuring all the group’s travellers were enjoying themselves and finding them activities best suited for their level of fitness. Evan was also an exceptional driver maneuvering the countless mountain roads we traversed with ease.
