- 442MarkBrisbane, Australia44 contributionsInteresting place to visit, especially when on a guided tour, such as Noble Tours. You get more information about the area when on a guided tour.Written 18 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kathy S5 contributionsWas interesting to see .the three ladies that built the house must have been amazing to have dug out the underground house by handWritten 17 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 442MarkBrisbane, Australia44 contributionsGreat set up, interesting facts, nice opals and things for sale. Great for kids too as there are two noodling boxes to find opal chips.Written 18 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Learnt a lot here, even though it was one of the last spots visited during our stay.Written 18 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- sterpo65Oakleigh, Australia237 contributions10 min out of town you’ll find Harrys house. He passed years ago but apparently he was the inspiration for crocodile Dundee. His underground house has loads of eccentric art inside and out. Fairly exciting guy and I think you’ll find it quite interesting place to visit. $7 each adult honesty boxWritten 31 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Jeff_8mileMelbourne, Australia263 contributionsJust like a Catholic Church but underground. Very well done and well worth a visit. The map was a bit confusing but it is in the Main Street.Written 1 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- sydneysider48Sydney, Australia928 contributionsIt's just a fence BUT what an amazing one stretching for so many kilometres over some to the unkindest country in the world and constructed with wire netting held together with all kinds of fastenings on mainly twisted wooden posts. The vision of the graziers who instigated it was impressive as is the ongoing maintenance of such an extensive structure.Written 22 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- kangachickAustralia152 contributionsYep, the Big Miner is a great photo opp but the real gems are inside. And I’m not just talking about opals. Husband and wife team, down to earth, unique jewellery made onsite and great value.Written 22 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Sam TAdelaide, Australia90 contributionsThe spaceship is looking a bit worse for wear, but then it was designed and built to last the filming of the movie, and given the harsh conditions is holding up well considering. It's still pretty cool to see what a movie prop looks like having seen the movie. It is hard to miss passing in the main street and car parking to stop and take photos is easy to do.Written 29 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 442MarkBrisbane, Australia44 contributionsInteresting displays and available information. The one staff member on duty was very helpful in pointing out where we wanted to go. More staff needed there as he was very busy coping with all the visitors.Written 18 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 442MarkBrisbane, Australia44 contributionsSome interesting displays outside and inside. Unfortunately the surround video system wasn't working at the time we visited.Written 18 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
