What travellers are saying
- Joy WAdelaide, Australia220 contributionsI wasn't going to review Black Hill as a hiking trail because I thought it would be good for it to stay a well kept secret - but heck that's mean! Currently training for a hike in Corsica and Sardinia and Black Hill is just perfect - there is a 6 hour/17kms round hike you can do with a couple of really mean hills thrown in. If you include Ghost Gully, Orchard Track and walk along Montacute road for about 1-1/2 kms you can join up with the mean mother Quarry track and head back down from the summit via Summit Nature trail back to where you started from. And it is lovely pristine bush when you stop for a breather!Written 17 August 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Waleed1 contributionThe staff were very friendly, the jump was amazing. The video and photos sent to us were great. All around amazing experience.Written 22 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Geraldine LSydney, Australia5 contributionsWe did the Glenelg Beach segway tour with Olivia and Priscilla. I had always wanted to do segway. It was an absolutely fantastic experience with brilliant views. The segway was a lot of fun, especially when we had some free time riding down on the sand.Written 21 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Catherine WKingaroy, Australia85 contributionsGreat experiences had on our 12 day Perth to Adelaide Swag Adventure.
Great organisation by our tour guide Joe. Great food, stories and locations.
It is a 'participatory' tour, so you help with food prep, clean up, etc. Everyone finds how they can best help, whether it is helping load the trailer with swags and bags, or food prep, clean up, sweep the bus, clean the windscreen, etc.
If you haven't slept under the stars, this is great way to experience it!
The decision to stay at Nullabor Roadhouse rather than a deserted homestead was a good one, as it gave the option of 'upgrading' to a motel room, which was welcomed by some.
The added benefit was it had an airstrip for RFDS to land to retrieve me when I took ill. I was well looked after by Joe and other travelling companions until help arrived.Written 30 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Sarah LPerth, Australia8 contributionsHired a Stand Up Paddleboard for 2 hours and could self navigate around the channels. - Greenenamel JennyHawks Nest, Australia5 contributionsThe Escapegoat Flinders Rangers by Bike tour was a fantastic way to enjoy the spectacular scenery of Ikara-Flinders Ranges. The MTB ride takes you through private properties and National Park trails, allowing you to enjoy the landscape fully. The ride is approximately 200 km divided over 4 days, and so has a variety of terrain that you ride through, some can be challenging, but the guides know the area very well and are very helpful. I hired an electric mountain bike through Escape Goat which was great for the trip.
Ian and Andy our guides were professional, organised, attentive, informative and good company. The accommodation provided was very comfortable, with all meals included.
I recommend this holiday to anyone who likes outdoor activities and mountain bike riding.Written 8 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - CrazyGreasedUpDefGuyAdelaide, Australia1 contributionGot this experience thanks to the "great state voucher". I will definitely be going again and I recommend the public option. You meet some new people and once the drinks start flowing the interactions keep going. The staff are lovely, you feel safe while not feeling overburdened by a task master.Written 24 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Laura K1 contributionThe experience blows 'Fun' out of the water. What a rollercoaster. Josh was an engaging, energetic host and really piqued our excitement before we attempted the Gaol break. Happy to report we made it out and are still on the run from the authorities.Written 18 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Liz HCrystal Brook, Australia106 contributionsMy husband (67) had a knee replacement 10 weeks ago & wasn’t sure whether he’d manage the climb. He did it with his brother-in-law (67) & nephews (37 & 33) & thoroughly enjoyed it. It wasn’t as difficult as he expected, and extremely safely & well managed, from start to finish. He’d highly recommend it.Written 27 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
