Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Kate BWangaratta, Australia182 contributionsThis was a perfect place to visit at the end of a busy day. The gardens are peaceful and their beauty captures your eye wherever you look

- CraigH0901Adelaide, Australia1,366 contributionsHad an amazing experience in our back yard. To be honest, didn't know about this place and I've lived here all my life.
We went for an exhibition that was well presented, however, we also decided to undertake the tour of the house. David Roche was generationally wealthy and hoarded his collection over time.
We had the Curator take our tour that should have been 90 minutes but went for 150 minutes. His knowledge was incredible and we thoroughly enjoyed his delivery and enthusiasm.
A fantanstic experience that i could recommend to new visitors to Adelaide as well as the locals.Written 11 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The setting is beautiful, sweeping views of the valley-all the way to the ocean! The staff went out of their way to accomodate our large group of 11, with 4 young children. They set up picnic blankets and games for the kids. Wine is fabulous (In particular the Rose). We will be back 😊Written 27 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Travelling PixieAdelaide, Australia1,041 contributionsBeautiful, classic cinema. Go for a special night out. Organ plays Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights.
Prices, especially candy bar are really affordable.
Loads of seats, upstairs and down.
Will make a point of attending this cinema again!Written 10 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We chose the Deadly Discovery challenge, and it was the perfect blend of excitement and difficulty.
The three of us managed to escape with just one minute and three seconds to spare, which added to the thrill. The game was well-balanced and kept us engaged throughout.
Special thanks to our fantastic game masters, Sophie and Alanna, who made the experience even more enjoyable with their guidance and enthusiasm. I highly recommend it for a fun and challenging adventure!Written 19 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My husband and I did the Gaol Break room - it was challenging but still lots of fun. The staff were so lovely and accomodating. Thank you so much to Austin, Milla and Sheridan for hosting us.Written 6 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CasandraTPSydney, Australia4,294 contributionsWhen I say hidden, I really do mean hidden. The entrance is just off Peel Street in the same entrance to Bread and Bone but you go downstairs and then the door is hidden in the wall paneling. Once you find the bar you are greeted by welcoming staff who were more than helpful in finding the right cocktail. I did try the Peel Street Corpse Reviver which is definitely worth trying. There are booths to sit in or like us, we sat at the bar. If in Adelaide, you should pop in for at least one.Written 26 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - gillies58Gold Coast, Australia2 contributionsWe had a fabulous day of food and wine tastings.
Our driver Danny C. was excellent. He was so informative and friendly and accommodating. He showed us a lot of Adelaide as well and again knew so much history. His van was immaculate and comfortable. We would definitely recommend his services to anyone.Written 25 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. If you haven't been back here for a while, or even if you have, come along again and see the new foyer and try the easy access to the cinema. It's a treasure. Give it a try!Written 3 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ninjabeaver22 contributionsExcellent trip, hosts were very knowledgeable and friendly. Saw a couple of dolphins, one a mother and baby . Would definitely recommend.Written 13 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- LASAucklandAuckland39 contributionsI did the self-guided e-bike nature tour (without the winery tour option). It was a great way to spend half a day or more in Adelaide. Ian was so helpful, even picking me up from the train station, which was an easy 35 mins from Adelaide central, and upgrading me to a full-suspension e-bike, with additional gel seat (as I'm not a hard-core mountain biker). The GPS worked really well and it was a great trip where I covered a lot of distance, got to see a lot of wildlife (had to break suddenly as an emu crossed my path!) and suited my level of biking, which is more trail rider than mountain biker. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who has a day to spare in Adelaide, and the train station is right next to the convention centre, so its a great trip to add to the end of your conference, like I did!Written 14 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jackie C1 contributionSteve from Cellar Door Tours was just fantastic!
We toured McLaren Vale - very intimate & Steve's knowledge of the area was excellent & had great rapport with the wine makers we met at the cellar doors we visited.
Steve was also really flexible with what we wanted to explore in the region & also went out of his way to show us the beautiful beaches of Moana, Port Noarlunga & Christies Beach on the way home.
Great day with great experiences and one that we will remember for ever - would highly recommend Cellar Door Tours.Written 3 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It just popped back into my head so thought I would say how amazing my trip was. Our tour guide, Craig was absolutely fantastic. One of the nicest people you could hope to meet and was so helpful. He went above and beyond. We saw so many beautiful places and had so much fun. I was travelling alone and never once felt lonely with such a lovely bunch of people. Would love to do another tour someday!Written 4 January 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
