    What an interesting place.
Easy to walk to from most hotels.
It has the usual Coles, fruit and veg plus meat places but unlike say Sydney, which is bigger, there is very little repetition of shops and stalls.
Some really interesting ones like just eggs, wine and spirits sales, hats, cheeses form a large variety of places.
    Couple of good coffee places.
We enjoy the place which is under cover and thus available in all weather conditions. Items were well priced and the Camera House with antique lens and cameras was of particular of interest to me.

the indigenous lady with a bottle of clear coca-cola , her feet on the seats and fast asleep did detract a little.

Have been to Adelaide Oval a few times to watch a football game and it never disappoints. Great oval , food options, great atmosphere and seating.
Easy access to the oval from the city .

Loved taking a walk around this Garden. Particularly loved the pond with the little turtles in it, they came right up and stuck their heads out to say hello and were so cute!

Visited today 13/05 and was not disappointed by this beautiful art gallery. I visited the National Gallery in Melbourne last week & the Art Gallery of South Australia is just as wonderful. Spent several hours here today taking all the wonderful Art Works & Artifacts in then rounded off with a beautiful bite to eat & a glass of wine in the superb Art Gallery restaurant.

Love that everything here is basically on the flat or easy to navigate. Although some exhibits were not open due to "social distancing" which made no sense as it was outside, the zoo was good. It did make us a bit sad to see the bandicoot looking stressed and pacing the exhibit it was in trying to get back out the door to the back part though, it would be nice to see it have somewhere it could go to when stressed like that instead of being trapped on display.

What an amazing place to spend a few hours. My favourite exhibits were the Australian Polar Collection, Ancient Egypt (very small) and World Mammals. But there are heaps more endless wonders - five floors worth! We managed to see everything in 4 hours. Best of all it is absolutely free!

Check out the taxidermy lion outside, watch it for a while and you will see it move it's tail! We eventually found out how they made the tail move, fascinating!

Finally a wander through the Rundle Mall area to finish off the day. A good variety of shopping outlets for all. Very popular with the locals and tourists. Buskers were entertaining.

These Japanese Gardens are one of my favourite, free “go to” outings in Adelaide! Very pretty. Well maintained. Small and peaceful. Free street parking available. Situated in the south parklands, there is opportunity to walk around the parklands.
Well worth a visit if in Adelaide.

I would not say this is a easy walk but it is achievable to most and the scenery is great. Does have many stops along the way if you need to take a break and the surface is very good.

Next door to the Magnificent Art Gallery lies the marvel that is the State Library of South Australia. So much to see here however the atmosphere wins the day here. Thankyou for a wonderful morning.

Finally managed to have our function after three tries due to covid restrictions. They were kind enough to hold our deposit for two years. Food ample and nice and fresh. Plenty of wine to choose from.....naturally...and AV company easy to deal with. Night went off without a hitch.
