Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stop in and take a nice walk through the market. Stop and eat some chocolates, pastry, and drink some great coffee. Fresh fish, meats, cheeses, fruits, and veggies - all local.

After having visited a dozen of australians biggest cities, I admire Adelaide as the most beautiful one and its botanical garden is a safe haven of tranquility, a solitude cool nook full of beautiful natural smells and views.

my visit was crowned by viewing an exhibition of unbelievable glass objects by one of the world's leading artists, Dale Chihuly... unfortunately I could not see them at night..

The old cars are long gone the new high quality but different sections of the track are of different quality I understand there are plans to improve the journey and lesson the number of level crossings. Affordable fare and frequent.

We attended a Matilda’s game and had an awesome experience. All staff were polite and friendly. Entry was well organised, food was easy to purchase. Everything about the night was fabulous!

I'm not a huge fan of caged animals. This zoo is pretty good by comparison, but still seems a bit restrictive, especially for some of the gibbons and the bigger animals like giraffes and elephants. But they all seem to be pretty well treated.

It's a pretty expensive visit, even without the extras. Jump online before hand to check feeding times, up close experiences etc. and book them before you go as they often fill up fast. Give yourself a good few hours to see everything, and timing is important - in the middle of a hot day, everything will be asleep.

Signs are informative, the walkaround is reasonably straight forward and there are some great interactive shows like the birds and feed the giraffes etc.

Check it out next time you're in town, make a day of it and have lunch. Just make sure you bring your wallet.

A nice and relaxed place for a stroll and some shopping. Along the way there are some nice place for food and drinks. Friday evening brings some additional atmosphere to the place.

Well worth a visit with lots to see and read on the History of South Australia.
It could take up to three hours plus to go round but worth it.

I visited Australias most beautiful city Adelaid in summer. Hardly ever I would spend time IN buildings, but since I am a museum lover (have been to more than 200 museums around the world), I could not resist this Art Gallery - and was rewarded with an inspiring visit of a special museum. Due to the fact of too many objects and too small rooms the density of pieces of art in a room is unique. Some critics would argue: Too much, too different, does not fit - I did not have this idea but was happy to see sooo many amazing pieces of art in such few rooms. And it is for free! - You can always take a break at the cafeteria and start anew...

This venue offers tastings (or glasses) from a range of Australian wines . But each tasting is paid for separately, and the cost mounts up very quickly. We had a nice, tasty lunch there, spoiled slightly by poor quality bread. To my mind, a one-off experience.

We happened to be in Adelaide for the Fringe Festival. There are all kinds of shows during the festival, including music, magic, food etc. The city was so lively as a result (and busy as it was also Arts Festival and Writers Week) when we were there. We went to 3 events - a magic show (soso), an outdoor exhibit, Natural Wonders (very cool) and a Kaleidoscope, a maze (gave me a headache with the gonging music). Many of the available shows were quirky (but I thought this was interesting).

Very nice free tour for tours and locals alike. You’ll see enough to know where you want to eventually stop and visit. Two minute walk from main train station.

Was a really great activity for everyone of all ages.

Affordable and an enjoyable 2 hours.

So much to read as you go and the little quizzes along the way were fun.

Cafe was available and the staff were lovely and friendly.

Self guided was easy to do and we all enjoyed it.

Beautiful picnic area out the front heaps of car parks, some seating and tables around the gaol.

    10/10

Have been here many times by bike and car. This time we hiked from Waterfall Gully to Mt Lofty. Scenic views. Waterfalls are small in comparison to many others but the best in Adelaide. Ample parking available and multiple toilets.
