Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Seven of us spent 4 hours wandering around the gardens. Including about an hour in the Cafe. The museum is worth a visit the glass house is enchanting with the Victoria lillies. Very relaxing place to spend time. Random seating available in the shade. Grab a visitors map. Go early as parking can be a challenge. Park on plain tree rd. It's shaded and close to gree entry. A place worth several visits. Great photo opportunities.

The tram is an easy way to get to Glenelg. Explore the beachside suburb and then return to the city. The tram also runs along North Terrace and is free in the CBD.

From the animals to the grounds and facilities, so well maintained and a pleasure to walk around. Even loved being able to buy a selection of plants that are growing throughout the zoo. Definitely recommend, especially if you are a first time visitor or haven’t been recently.

I enjoyed my visit to the Art Gallery of South Australia (AGSA). There are many rooms with a variety of exhibits. Their major temporary exhibit was "Taranthi: Festival of Contemporary Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Arts". I liked the Coiled Pandanus Baskets from Gunbalanya, NT. As part of Taranthi, they had a major exhibit of Vincent Namatjira's works. (He is the great-grandson of Albert Namatjira, a talented Aboriginal artist.) "Australia in Colour" showed 21 portraits of famous people, including a self-portrait of the artist. He had also created several interesting and unique portraits of the royal family.

We enjoyed our visit in the SA Musuem. The building is situated within a beautiful historial precinct in the north side of Adelaide. The outside cafe and sitting areas are beautiful and pleasantly inviting on a good weather day.
There are plenty of varied exhibits for all intersts and ages. We particularly enjoyed the Antarctic display for Douglas Mawson and the Gem, Opals and Meteorites on display.
The younger visitors certainly seem to enjoy the animal hall on the first level and the Egyption room! The giant squid is also something unique, which is displayed over 3 levels!
We were entertained and happy with our visit!

It was Sunday and pouring rain on our day so hardly seen at it's best, but a most attractive area with an enormous selection of shops. Would have liked to have seen more small specialty places, but inner city rents don't encourage that I guess.

We spent a happy 45 minutes wandering through the stacks and reading the old maps at this historical site. Worth a visit as you explore the museums along this busy street.

Found this place on trip advisor and decided to check it out. The Japanese garden was tranquil, quiet and beautiful. You will enjoy the small but spectacular gardens. Take the time to explore and rest awhile.

We took the South Australia wine tasting experience in advance of a day trip to the Barossa Valley the following day. Very interesting & informative with a good tasting and food pairing experience to conclude.

One of the best museums we’ve seen about the Australian migration. It seems each major city has one, but this was the most informative. Covering a wide swath of the Australian migration experience, including up to the current era, this museum gave us a real sense of the entire experience- good and bad.

In order to go to Angus Street, my taxi went through North Terrace. As I hadn't been there for a very long time since the bus route had changed, it was really nice to see the familiar buildings like the railway station, parlament house, museum, etc.
