Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a small but clean, vibrant and colourful market. Lots of great stalls and places to grab something to eat and a coffee.
Its a wonderful market to just stroll though and take in the sounds and colours.
Its only only a few minutes walk from Victoria Square and less than 10 minutes walk from Rundall Mall
A great way to spend a morning.
But a note: its open on Saturdays but not Sundays!

the easiest stop to get on this tram is rundle mall or victoria square.

take it all the way to terminus, then get off when you see the ferris wheel

glenelg is a seaside town with amusememt park, arcade, eateries, and the mediocre beach. it is a busy place filled with locals on weekend and the last tram back to adelaide is at 12:30 am.

Adelaide zoo is Australia's second oldest zoo, opening in 1883 and is home to 2500 animals. Adelaide zoo is most famous for its Giant Panda's Wang Wang and Fu Ni, the only Giant Panda's found anywhere in Australia. Everyday at 1:15PM is the Giant Panda keeper talk where you can learn more about these adorable animals, I learnt many interesting facts, however I won't spoil it by sharing them here. Other interesting creatures in Adelaide Zoo include Sumatran Tigers, Lions, Taipurs, Manned Wolves, Komodo Dragons and much more. The Reptile Enclosure is also pretty awesome and was my second favourite exhibit after the Giant Pandas.

Adelaide Oval was absolutely breathtaking. I had the chance to visit the stadium on my own, and as a huge cricket fan, it felt like a pilgrimage. Watching the live game there, where so many legendary moments had taken place, was an emotional experience. FanToPark made the trip even more special by organising everything from travel to ticket booking. I didn’t have to worry about a thing, and could focus entirely on soaking in the incredible atmosphere. Whether you're flying solo or with friends, FanToPark ensures you get the best out of your cricket trip.

This museum focuses on native cultures, fauna of Australia, prehistoric creatures, minerals, arctic explorations and much more. There is so much to see here, you could easily spend over an hour exploring everything which my friend and I did, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything that we saw.

These is something totally comforting and serene about Japanese gardens and this is certainly true of the Adelaide Himeji Garden.

Himell Garden was designed on traditional Japanese garden principles, though it plants have been adapted to the climate of Adelaide. It celebrates a sister city relationship with Himeji which city lies 480 kms to the southwest of Tokyo.

At the Himeji Garden you will find that two classic Japanese styles are combined. Here you will witness the "senzui" - a lake and mountain garden where water and the imagination conjure up images of grandeur, and the "kare kenzui" - a dry garden where rocks and sand evoke the presence of water, even in the sea itself.

When you enter the traditional gatehouse, you will see a water bowl right before you. This is the "Chozubachi" were visitor are invited to purify themselves, washing their hands and adopting a humble kneeling demeanour. And from here on out you can enjoy your contemplative walk, absorbing the perfectly manicured surroundings.

Though our visit was during the approaching winter timeframe, when much of the garden was not blooming, it was still a really soothing place to visit. The heart of the garden is a lake which Buddhists believe is essential to happiness. This is fed by water from the "mountain" or "Tsukiyama", which balances the Yin and the Tang, the lake and the mountain. Here we saw plenty of turtles and coy carp in the water, not to mention the odd mallard duck and thirsty magpie.

And past the raked gravel area you'll find a Tea House or "Chashitu" which immitates the Sea of Sand (Kare-senzui)...the vastness of the sea filled with its islands and continents.

A truly great place to spend some time with yourself and nature. Go there :)

We happened to be in Adelaide for the Fringe Festival. There are all kinds of shows during the festival, including music, magic, food etc. The city was so lively as a result (and busy as it was also Arts Festival and Writers Week) when we were there. We went to 3 events - a magic show (soso), an outdoor exhibit, Natural Wonders (very cool) and a Kaleidoscope, a maze (gave me a headache with the gonging music). Many of the available shows were quirky (but I thought this was interesting).

Have been here many times by bike and car. This time we hiked from Waterfall Gully to Mt Lofty. Scenic views. Waterfalls are small in comparison to many others but the best in Adelaide. Ample parking available and multiple toilets.

The Rundle Mall Pigs are bronze statues that are large items, they are a central exhibit in the middle of Rundle Mall, Adelaide's most prominent shopping area. They are very realistic, and they are seen as scavenging rubbish. The Mall Pigs are i interesting artistic creations that attract locals and visitors to Rundle Mall.

Very clean and well spaced, lots of interesting shops and eateries - many sports wear shops, discounted prices so many bargains.
All shop staff friendly and accommodating, spent a lovely afternoon meandering round here.
