- Kris MHobart, Australia98 contributionsWe recently celebrated my son’s 16th birthday at Escape Hunt Adelaide, and it was an unforgettable experience! We chose the Deadly Discovery challenge, and it was the perfect blend of excitement and difficulty.
The three of us managed to escape with just one minute and three seconds to spare, which added to the thrill. The game was well-balanced and kept us engaged throughout.
Special thanks to our fantastic game masters, Sophie and Alanna, who made the experience even more enjoyable with their guidance and enthusiasm. My husband and I did the Gaol Break room - it was challenging but still lots of fun. The staff were so lovely and accomodating. There were board games to play while we waited which was excellent and the staff were friendly.
The room itself was set up well, it was clean and the atmosphere was fun. The clues and hints were well placed and the help we reached when needed was well timed and useful.
I would have liked the initial information and set up to be slightly less cryptic, because out of context and with no prior knowledge I didn’t feel any more confident about starting the game.

This was our second time at Urban Mysteries; we love the vibe and enthusiasm of the staff here! Without giving away any spoilers, the intro to the room was fantastic.
Lucidity is a similar concept to another room we did in Melbourne and this is waaaaay better with cooler execution. The puzzles fit so well into the story and were both innovative and fun. It’s rated 5/5 difficulty but if you have experience with rooms you shouldn’t struggle too much.
We always like the hint system these guys use as it doesn’t break the immersion at all.
