Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Well worth a visit with lots to see and read on the History of South Australia.
It could take up to three hours plus to go round but worth it.

It was ok for a day out with kids but a little disappointed with how it turned out. Maybe in 2025 for the older kids and adults to have a escape the jail from the zombie attack. I would of so been in something like that and it would of topped the day off. I think it could of had a bit more thought for what was going to happen on the day. My niece had not been to the jail before thought it was ok and had agreed with me about like having a zombie attack would of been great fun. I have been there on a ghost tour and was worth the money and was creepy at night.one thing I think that needed to be changed was the items that we collected on the trail when we did the
Wail at the gaol....to tiny and can possibly be chocking hazard for tiny kids maybe buy bigger items next time and a map to where to collect the items would be good as a lot of people were confused as to where to start. Just a few things to think about for the next Wail at the gaol 2025. Other wise it was a good day. Thanks to everyone who helped out to make this happen.i will be back again.

Interesting museum detailing the variety of immigrants into Australia. The stories behind the photos were fascinating.

What a fascinating and interesting museum we have here in Adelaide. Big variety of stuffed animals and very cool Egyptian section with Mummy’s. Really enjoyed the indigenous exhibition too.
Went during an art exhibition which was good.
Staff are vet friendly and helpful.
    Love the old historic structure.

Unexpected gem of police memorabilia. Good display of police vehicles also. Friendly and passionate volunteers. Sad that the future of this display is unknown as the buildings will soon be demolished by the government.

I booked a visit to the Adelaide Holocaust Museum. Andrew Steiner, a Holocaust survivor, was one of the founders of the museum. He invited me to watch a presentation he was giving to a school group. I found it very interesting and it was also very nice to speak to this 90-year-old artist. You can see him at the far right of the photo I attached. I believe very strongly that we must educate people about the Holocaust so that something like it never happens again. The museum does a good job of presenting the story of the Holocaust and includes the stories of the Holocaust survivors who founded the museum. That adds a personal touch to the exhibits.

The Centre of Democracy is located inside the State Library and has a free exhibit on how democracy works in Australia. As a retired teacher of government, I found the exhibit to be informative and interesting.

This is a great place to wander around and see some really interesting photos of early Adelaide amongst other well presented artefacts. Well worth a drop in if you are on North Terrace.
