Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We attended a Matilda’s game and had an awesome experience. All staff were polite and friendly. Entry was well organised, food was easy to purchase. Everything about the night was fabulous!

This venue offers tastings (or glasses) from a range of Australian wines . But each tasting is paid for separately, and the cost mounts up very quickly. We had a nice, tasty lunch there, spoiled slightly by poor quality bread. To my mind, a one-off experience.

The Rundle Mall Pigs are bronze statues that are large items, they are a central exhibit in the middle of Rundle Mall, Adelaide's most prominent shopping area. They are very realistic, and they are seen as scavenging rubbish. The Mall Pigs are i interesting artistic creations that attract locals and visitors to Rundle Mall.

St Peter's Cathedral has a strong leadership of the Anglican Church in Adelaide with a High Church connection and Christian shrines. St Peter's is always decorated and has many worshipers. St Peter's is in King William Street, slightly detached from North Terrace.

Easy to get to and from via direct bus from Adelaide CBD. Arrived earlier than 10am so the pedestrian entry was closed, walked up the road and entered via the gardens at the main entrance. Paid the entry fee to explore the interior of the house. Morning guided tour (no bookings needed) wasn’t til 11.30am so short walk to the new cafe at the carpark and had a delicious scone with jam & cream and coffee. Yum! Only a small group in our free guided tour. Diane was our guide and she was superb. Just over an hour and we learnt a lot. Enjoyed seeing the tapestries and all the paintings. Gardens weren’t as beautiful as I expected for Spring. They would be better in October when all the roses are in bloom.

Right next to the Adelaide Central Markets. Very busy place on a Thursday night, Surprised how small the street was. Lots of busy Chinese restaurants, however, difficulty finding places for solo eaters.

The foundation of St Francis Xavier was laid in 1856, construction went on for many years, the massive tower remained incomplete until 1996. The Cathedral is huge, it will absorb a large congregation, in which the Jesuit Order participates. The Cathedral is very attractive internally, it's worth exploring this Cathedral, it's not far from the city of Adelaide. It is a notable feature of the progressive Catholic Church.

The National War Memorial was created in Adelaide in 1931, in the North Terrace and Kintore Avenue, near Government House. The creation can be seen from both sides to represent the sacrifice of many South Australian soldiers. The memorial is used in Anzac Day and Remembrance Day each year. The National War Memorial is impressive and worth inspecting.

Haighs Chocolates are in this building in Rundle Mall since 1915. It is a State Heritage place. The present building was built in 1895, but it was a draper's shop from 1849 to 1886.It was built three storeys above the pavement and was Gothic in character. The neo-Gothic facade and prominent tourelle were refurbished in 1998

The official name is The Spheres but known as the Mall Balls Statue,. The Hindmarsh Building Society donated it in 1977 to the City of Adelaide to mark the society’s centenary. It is just over 13 feet.

The University of Adelaide was established in 1874. The main campus is in North Terrace adjacent to the Art Gallery of South Australia, the South Australian Museum, and the State Library of South Australia. There are plans to merge the Adelaide University with the University of SA by 2026 and blends in well as a very impressive building and is a State Heritage Place. A statue of Sir Walter Watson Hughes, who with Sir Thomas Elder provided funds to establish the University, is located at the front of the building.

I absolutely loved my experience at the Unique Opal Mine in Adelaide. I had only intended to see the mine downstairs and maybe buy an unpolished stone, but Elijah Ponte, one of the jewelers there, was so engaging and knowledgeable, that my interest was immediately piqued. He really took his time with us, and I ended up buying a gorgeous opal ring that is absolutely stunning. Now I wish I had bought earrings, too!

I enjoyed the free tour of Parliament House. Our guide showed us both the House of Assembly, which sits in the Green Room, and the Legislative Council, which sits in the Red Room.

Rundle Street East is an area of historic significance, which is used for shopping by locals and victors in Rundle Mall. The historic Rundle Mall East buildings were constructed in Adelaide around the Victorian era. Walking in the area is good for some exercise, it's near the center of Adelaide.
