Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a great 8 hour day tour if you want to cover the key winery areas. Our tour guide Deep gave an extensive overview of historical facts punctuated with humour along the way. Maggie Beers was a delightful place (make sure you have a scone & coffee). Unfortunately not enough time here to walk around the property to see the all the vegetation & wildlife. We visited two cellar doors with lunch at Kies Family Winery which was delicious. They offered a generous tasting selection. I managed to snavel a bottle of the very limited 25 year old Morris Lane Tawny. The Hahndorf village is wonderful with all things German, however not all shops were open on a Wednesday. I would recommend a dedicated weekend visit to truly appreciate all this town has to offer. You can get a bus from Adelaide CBD.

We had an amazing day with our tour guide/bus driver Gerry. Her knowledge and passion for the region was a highlight. We visited three wineries, the chocolate shop and Maggie Beers Farm, with lunch included at one of the wineries. Would highly recommend if travelling with a group of friends and wanting a well organised day in the wine region.

We spent two days with Bob, the first around the Barossa, and the second in the Adelaide Hills and the McLaren Vale. Both days were excellent, and Bob liaised with us beforehand with a suggested itinerary and was happy to vary a few things to fit in with our preferences. Bob was very friendly and knowledgeable, and took us to an interesting variety of cellar doors, from larger "polished" vineyards to some small "under the radar" places. We enjoyed every one, and it was clear that Bob was well known and well respected by several of the vineyard owners, which is always a good sign. Thanks Bob, we highly recommend you!

We had a great day on our Barossa Valley tour.
Jen was very personable, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area.
The wineries were great, and having flexibility in the afternoon allowed us to pick our favorite spots to visit.
Would definitely recommend to other groups.

A lovely day out. Very peaceful.
Trip down the Murray on a paddle steamer was really good, Shame it couldn't be just a bit longer.
Food on the boat was 1st class. Super tasty.
After the cruise we got free time in the town of Mannum but it was probably too long, very quiet town with not alpt to see (museum closed due to flooding earlier this year)
On the way back we stopped at Melbas chocolate factory and there was a cheese place next door but it was closing.
Our driver, Michael, was fantastic. We felt very safe, and he was full of local information.
I would highly recommend this day trip.

Wonderful personalised service for us as first timers to McLaren Vale.
We loved our 2 wineries that Jen chose for us, in fact they were very us experiences.
Best part was having the luxurious feeling of not having to worry about getting to the next location. Would recommend this experience to everyone we know as a fantastic way to see a little of the area.

Fantastic tour. Chris was our driver / guide and did a great job on 25/8/24.
Tyler at Pindarie wines gave a great explanation if their wines and we orderd some to be sent home and as tour was a Sealink tour then free freight.
Gavin at Lambert wines was vert entertaining and informative and food was very good and plenty provided.
Barossa Chocolate and wine pairing was very interesting but still think the only good pairing is dark chocolate and red wine!
    Thoroughly recommend the tour.

Absolute gem of a tour. Gerry from BOS Tours was very knowledgeable, friendly and accomodating. Great lunch In Hahndorf and plenty of walk around time . Plenty of on road visits to suit the group even a look at Oakbank racecourse. Small group made it friendly and personable. Highly recommended to see the Hahndorf area.

My wife is an experienced Barossa connoisseur and Kym took us to multiple *amazing* wineries she had never heard of. We found some amazing wines different to what we had expected.

I mentioned I loved history, so Kym took us to see a 19th-C organ getting played and a tour of it's inner works. It was mind-blowing.

I mentioned my brother and I were playing golf the next day, so Kym introduced us to several wine-makers who played there a lot and could give us tips.

We said we wanted to go into town for dinner, so Kym dropped us off next door so we could get some drinks while we wanted for our table, and introduced us to the musician playing at Z Bar, who then gave us a very fun set.

I've been on a few wine tours before, but this was the best. My wife had been to Barossa many times, but said this trip was her favourite.

We had an amazing time on our barossa wine tour! Bob was great at planning in advance and our tour guide Sam on the day was also amazing. Sam made sure we got the most out of our day and took us to some really lovely wineries and even a couple extras than on our initial itinerary. Would definitely recommend and would do again myself! 😊 thanks guys

Absolutely loved this half day tour. Geri was our guide and we were the only two passengers so, in effect, had a private tour. Geri took us around some of the Adelaide city sights before driving us up to Mount Lofty providing us with loads of information. Very interesting to hear about the history of Hahndorf before arriving there and then having places of interest pointed out to us before having free time to explore on our own. Hahndorf is beautiful. On the way back Geri again provided us with more information about the local area. Would totally recommend the outing.
