The gardens are also interesting to explore. Best part though are his stories and his willingness to adapt to the interests of his clients. After the Coorong tour, we contacted Roger to ask if he was free for a 4-5 hour trip to the Adelaide Hills. Fortunately, he was, and because we'd already spent time with us, he knew what we enjoyed seeing and doing. - Climber129657846401 contributionRoger was great to deal with by phone in picking our first tour , to Murray River and lunch cruise with several stops there and back . We were picked up by Di our chauffeur and guide who explained all the localities we visited , she was prepared to stop anywhere we wanted to ( only us on tour ) and suggested places that she felt would suit our interests . We booked a second day trip , again just 2 of us to the coast with an excellent lunch at Flying Fish restaurant and a first class winery tasting at Olivers Taranga ( McLaren Vale 0 , a look at the Dali sculptures at D'Arenberg and other stops suiting our interests.
Modern , very comfortable vehicles that made for two excellent days out.

Geri was our guide and we were the only two passengers so, in effect, had a private tour. Geri took us around some of the Adelaide city sights before driving us up to Mount Lofty providing us with loads of information. Very interesting to hear about the history of Hahndorf before arriving there and then having places of interest pointed out to us before having free time to explore on our own. Hahndorf is beautiful. On the way back Geri again provided us with more information about the local area.
