Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

First of all for people complaining that a lot of the day is spent on the coach travelling, I'm not sure how people expected anything else other than the tour guides using fairy dust to transport us all to the different places. This is only a 1 day trip and these places are far away... it takes 2 hours to get down to the ferry on the coach and another half hour or so on the ferry to the island. Then you drive right aroud the island stopping at various points.
Yes it is a long day but on the drives we saw lots and lots of kangaroos in the wild as well as camels and great island scenery.
Kangaroo island itself is amazing we were slightly in awe of the people that get to live there.
You get to walk on the beach with seals, view the amazing Admirals Arch & Remarkable Rocks, then get to feed Kangaroos and see lots of other animals at the sanctuary.
I would suggest staying awake for the drive down to view the wild Kangaroos and scenery and maybe save the napping for the way back as you will be ready for it!

Booked a solo wine tour and met some lovely people. The wineries went into detail and I learned more about the grapes and the wine making process than I have ever had the pleasure of learning in past experiences. Pick-up and drop-off was well timed, the lunch was delicious, the other little stop (Maggie Beers) was good fun.

This was a terrific day out. We were picked up from our hotel exactly at the allocated time by our driver/guide, Deep. He was very knowledgeable and attentive and the tour ran very smoothly. We fitted a lot in and we got exactly what was promised. We would highly recommend this tour.

Lovely day in the Barossa Valley with Trailhoppers!

Yvette was very friendly and told us interesting facts about the history of the area and the vineyards as we drove round, as well as recommendations for Adelaide transport and restaurants during the drive back.

I liked the flexibility of the tour where you could pick your choices (max of 4). Also helpful that you could leave your wine purchases in the bus whilst doing tastings. The bus was bang on time for each stop. We really enjoyed visiting Rusden, Yalumba and Kaesler (would skip Providore). Will definitely do another tour when back in Adelaide to visit some of the vineyards that we didn’t get to this time. Thanks Yvette and Trailhoppers for a great day!

Geerd gave great commentary with humor and good knowledge. We enjoyed the whole itinerary: attractions, scenery, photo stops, food stops etc. Only downside, 13 seater bus back seat and tight suspension gave a lumpy ride on SA crap roads.

We arrived a group of 4 Adults myself brother, son and friend. Fiona our guide for the day explained all the safety and paddling methods. She also mentioned that although it was a dolphin sanctuary we might not see any Dolphins, should we see any we were to stay at least 50 M away from them. As we got into our kayaks and launched under Fionas instructions a dolphin appeared 100M away. So that was our start for the day. We paddled up the lagoon seen all the yachts and a couple of sunken ones on a sand bar. We then went into two mangroves and Fiona explained what happens in the Mangroves as far as vegetation, height of the sea levels etc. I have done kayaking before in Thailand this trip was most enjoyable. My son and his friend had never done kayaking before. They like all of us on the tour really enjoyed the tour and look forward to the next one. Congratulations to the dolphin sanctuary team and especially Fiona for making it a great time.

I organised the half day trip for my cousin who is legally blind but does have some sight. On his return he was extremely impressed and happy on how he was treated and the overall experience of the journey.
