Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Linda WTempe, AZ194 contributionsStop in and take a nice walk through the market. Stop and eat some chocolates, pastry, and drink some great coffee. Fresh fish, meats, cheeses, fruits, and veggies - all local.Written 16 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ExperienceRB3 contributionsTravelled around Australia for over a year in 2022/2023 and visited lots of markets including farmers' markets and this was by far the best, most professionally run market we visited. The produce was so fresh, the gin great and they even had activities for the kids. We were lucky to meet Poh and get a photo. Lots of green grass to sit around and chill, a caravan park at the Adelaide Showground great if you are travelling on wheels. Just out of Adelaide city and you can catch a tram from Glenelg seaside town. So many stalls at least 100 indoors and outside. Loved it. Do yourself a favour and go.Written 11 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- pakabayAdelaide, Australia2,495 contributionsThere are obviously lots of choices at a market a great as the Adelaide Central Market but one of my favourites for all things charcuterie, or as Australians say, Smallgoods.
Located very centrally just by the escalators, this market stalwart offers a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach.
Products are beautifully presented and clearly identified with price as well as country of origin. Service is sharp and friendly and i have never been disappointed with a purchase here.
Give them a try when next at the market.Written 2 February 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
