Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We really enjoyed this boat trip, water was a little choppy. Diving was great, enjoyed the reef sites we were taken too. Food on board was plentiful and tasted good. Would recommend - but take sea sickness tablets beforehand if the waves are choppy

Definitely recommend Calypso for a snorkelling trip to the outer reef. The boat was clean with enough space (55 passengers the day of our trip). Crew were very friendly and helpful. We visited 3 different sites, including a guided snorkel during the day and saw turtles and reef sharks. Equipment provided was clean and in good condition. There was a photographer onboard to take photos in and out of the water too.

An extraordinarily brilliant one-day trip to Fraser Island today, hosted by Steve (Cookie) on the big 40-seater coach - an amazing vehicle.
We were blessed with fine weather, but Steve's non-stop commentary, excellent driving on 'interesting' roads, perfect time keeping, and three dingo spots made it a day to remember forever. We also took the option of taking the short pleasure flight taking off and landing on the 75 mile beach, which was a 15 minute added extra.
Everything from the early morning pick up, the excellent buffet lunch, perfect sunset ferry ride back to the mainland and the efficient coach ride home were on the nail. V well done.

What an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend. It was a slightly windy day and the pilot said it may get a little bumpy but it was absolutely fine and a very soft landing. The scenery was amazing and he went around so that both sides could see the best bits. The pick up was on time and driver very friendly. No waiting around, after a safety briefing straight onto the plane which was very comfortable.

Family of 5 - we all had a wonderful and highly memorable day. The Zig Zag crew was super fun and friendly and made everything easy and well run. The boat ride was an experience in itself. Highly recommend this tour over all others.

I highly recommend this small group trip. Going to the Daintree Forest and Mosman Gorge has always been something I wanted to do. My husband I had a wonderful day. Rod, our guide is very experienced, knowledgeable and passionate about the wet tropics. The day included a delightful lunch and stop for a quick swim in a mountain stream. Fantastic!

This is probably the best snorkeling experience you are going to get in Port Douglas. Is it pricey? Yes, but it's worth it.

Three very knowledgable and extremely nice gentleman work on the boat and they are like peanut butter and jelly together.

You want to feel like you're on a National Geographic show? Book this.

You want to actually know what fish you see and how they behave in the water? Book this.

Your guides attention to detail for every guest is extraordinary. They treat you like you're a family friend.

The equipment you use is also COMFORTABLE, from the wet suits, masks, and fins.

Also a plus, you want that sweet footage of the reef, fish and yourself? They got you covered with Go Pro's.

Also a plus, the boat is covered so you're dry and out of the direct sun for the most part.

They also provide snacks and a sandwich that were very tasty.

We were reluctant to book a full day tour in case it sucked and we were stuck on a boat full of rude tourists but we couldn’t have wished for better! Pried the teens off their phones and we all enjoyed every action packed minute. A fun day made even better by the super friendly, very experienced Thunderstruck crew Captain Chris & Deckhand/Tour Master/Dive Master/Photographer Jimbo👌

Colin and team were incredible! If you want a boutique, personal sunset sail choose Indigo! It felt like we were the only ones on the boat, and we did have the entire back to ourselves for most of it! Small guest numbers, personal service, drinks constantly topped up and lovely local cheeses. Such a dream. Thanks Colin ✌️

Amazing day on a sailing boat with an excellent crew that was both nice, chill and enormously attentive. We have visited marine parks in different parts of the world, but this was next level. Great care for those scuba diving or snorkeling for the first time. All the equipment was in top shape. The food was very fresh and tasted great. With three adults we were so happy to have chosen a smaller boat - it felt both intimate and like true luxury! Best suited for those without young children.

Visiting the reef is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Especially seeing the coral and fish from the semi-submersible. I did find a swimming with flippers(fins) quite clumsy but Matt was super helpful and encouraging
