Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Ian DAustralia49 contributionsThis is a very well designed golf course. It is not a course for novices , because it’s quite hard despite plenty of width on tee shots . For a knowledgeable golfer it presents many challenges and this week the condition overall is excellent, especially fabulous fairways A few greens showing some disease , but most were fine . And in the clubhouse and Pros Shop standards of service and friendliness were first rate. I see a number of adverse reviews written in summer months, say November to April. I simply would not play in FNQ at such times. The amount of rain makes golf course maintenance impossible, especially here where there are many areas of water anyway. Played in winter months this is an excellent course as I’ve found over a number of years .Written 26 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sam MLondon, UK3 contributionsPaul was awesome, booked our tee times and accomodation on the course and organised our shuttles into town. Seamless experience for a group of 12, was there to meet us on day 1. Great guy.Written 12 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ian DAustralia49 contributionsThe course takes one through some lovely country. Fairways and greens are largely flat. Various grasses on the greens which were slow . And a number of the early fairways were very thin, as if the grass is dormant . The finishing holes are pretty special. A quite ok experience but Palmer Sea Links is a more interesting design and fairways and greens are superior . One final note in light of comments above. Everyone who served us did so pleasantly and efficientlyWritten 4 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
