Their caring expertise and hard work was remarkable and so very much appreciated by myself and other drivers of varying ages who signed up for introductory dives as a refresher. The whole staff (especially Jonathan, Faye and Ava) were warm, friendly, engaging and safety conscious. The food was excellent too! There was 270 people on our boat the day we visited and there was very little queuing, lots of staff and everything was very well run! Staff were fun, informative and organised!
Buffet had a great choice.
Couple of the kids saw a turtle and 2 of the adults saw a white tip shark.

Time to swim at a creek and walk through the forest learning about the flora. Spotted salt water crocodiles on banks of the Daintree river ! Pristine Cape Tribulation beach. Adapted the schedule to meet a diverse range of divers and snorkelers.
Safety was always high on their agenda although not in an intrusive way.
Equipment first class and everything you could ever need provided.

The bus was good, I loved that it was a small bus for only 14 people but there was only 8 of us so we had space. The driver and tour guide Jim has also been amazing, from the jokes to so many interesting facts the whole way. The whole plan of the trip was also good and we got to see so much. The included morning coffee and lunch were so delicious. - Kayla W3 contributionsWe stopped in the shop randomly on the first day of our honeymoon and we were greeted by Sam who was extremely knowledgeable about the barrier reef and snorkel tours. He found a way to squeeze us in today and it was the best experience of our lives! We learned a ton about the Great Barrier Reef because we had three marine biologists on board. We snorkeled some of the most beautiful parts of the reef that only a smaller charter can access. Sam was even kind of enough to get lots of footage on our go pro for us to take home. We cannot recommend ABC charters enough!! Absolutely amazing crew and amazing day!! We love ABC snorkel! - AIA4 contributionsThis was an unreal day out in the Daintree forest areas with a small group and our amazing guide Ben. We chose to head out on a slightly rainy day, perfect for this experience. 3 different spots explored- Cape Tribulation where rainforest meets the reef, Daintree and Mossman Gorge. A boat fide on Cooper Ck was a highlight with 3 crocks sighted, one huge 5m one. Easy access to all activities, suitable for anyone. Ben shared his vast knowledge along the way and we learned a lot about the history and beauty of this World heritage area. A great lunch was served in a rainforest restaurant and fresh fruit in between. The forest is unique and the whole day was great. On a sunny day a dip to the crystal clear waters of the Gorge would have been amazing! - KiwiAsNZRangiora, New Zealand23 contributionsWe have done several trips on the Reef over the years, and we would rate the Calypso Low Isles as one of the best we have done - genuinely enjoyed the trip.
We went on the half-day tour on Saturday 20th and the crew of Nicole, Cedric and George were great - they were great hosts, very professional and enthusiastic to share all they knew with us and balanced with ensuring we felt safe at same time.
We saw burrowed clams and many fish and many turtles - we even swam with a couple. Time flew past too quickly, and we didn't want to leave.
We highly recommend it for families, groups of friends or even solo - we had all examples on board and will do it again next year.

Fabulous boat which was not too crowded. Highly professional focus on safety to ensure that everyone has the best experience for their ability. Can't be easy when you have rookie snorkelers struggling with their gear, but so much care and patience shown by all. The reef didn't disappoint - we saw turtles, a reef shark ... plenty of fish(!!) We were kept well fed, with a delicious & generous lunch - as well as morning & afternoon tea. Simple canapés and a glass of bubbles on arrival. There a is bar for further drink purchases during the trip.
Great views back to Port Douglas and out to sea. We loved that it was a sailing boat rather than a power boat.
The crew are all friendly and happy to take a picture or two if you’d like them too.
I took my sea sick tablets before I left, but we had a very calm night, so I’m sure I’d have been ok.
