Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Greeted by a home kitchen garden (and chooks), which hinted at a relaxing event to come.

Great food and host Ben guided us through the cooking process from which we have taken many suggestions and hacks for us to try when we get home.

A most enjoyable lunch was had.

If you are trying to improve your swimming and you are in Port Douglas, Palm Cove or Mossman, then book in!
Irene is a talented and enthusiastic swim coach and will encourage you to be your best whether you can swim, or cannot.
Affordable sessions, the best swim locations in the area, a big smile, a kind heart, and a genuine desire to help makes her the best swim coach by far.
You can swim with a private lesson, a small group of positive swimmers, or you can get a program online and train in your own time.
Every lesson has intention, and a clear path to warm up, main session, cool down with fun thrown in.
Please book in if you can- you will not regret it.

We holidayed in Port Douglas with the idea of visiting some of the spectacular natural wonders of the area . We knew that the Great Barrier Reef, Daintree, Mossman Gorge would give us a great holiday experience and of course, they did. One of the best experiences we had though was a Paleo Cooking Class with Holiday Cooking Port Douglas. Alan was a brilliant host and we enjoyed sitting down to lunch getting to know him and his family whilst we indulged in the delicious treats that he had just taught us to prepare and cook. We added to our repertoire of healthy recipes and left with great skills that will help us to continue leading a fit and healthy lifestyle.

I was a beginner, but everyone else was at different levels and I found it very relaxing especially when you are on a beach with beautiful scenery. we had an overcast day, so it was not to hot.

So much fun!! There's heaps of information, the people who run the show are so chill and look after you. The fish are actually wild which is insane. I would definitely do it again and was the highlight of my trip

She has ignited a flame within me for which I am so grateful. My wife wanted to learn more and suggested I should "tag" along as I might learn something. My sister & brother-in-law are the photographers not me . . . Just using my phone and simple explanations and instruction in her friendly smiling way educates you 1 on 1 in such a way that you think you are the only one in the group. So encouraging supportive and guiding. Just great. So if my sister and brother-in-law read this . . . I am coming for you with pictures to die for . . . She is just great and I am so thankful to both my wife and Tracey for igniting that creative aspect within. Thank you. She is worth the time and $$ spent. Do it, you will enjoy your phone / camera and the learning. As a scuba diver I am considering buying a camera . . .

Commenting only on the studio - did not do a tour.

The exhibition is quite impressive, with some special interests in food photography particularly noticeable. We also liked a number of the frames (particularly the (maybe recycled) timber frames) as well as the acrylic clocks.

If you are after a nice photographic souvenir from Port Douglas, or something a bit more artistic, I'd recommend this place. They will even produce your own photos to make it your memory of Port Douglas, and the quality appears fantastic.
