Nice way to spend a Sunday morning in Port Douglas. Was quite busy owing to a number of weekends of bad weather but still easy to get around and look at the stalls.

The council controls/approves each vendor which means this really is a good quality market with a wide variety of stalls. I usually struggle to find anything of interest at markets these days as they all tend to be ticky tack that is found everywhere. PD Sunday Market was really good and managed to find a few unique items to buy.

Not a huge range of food/drink options but there are at least 4-5 food vendors and a couple of drink vendors.

The Port Fouglas Marina market is not a big market but it is a reasonable market if you can only appreciate those stall holders who do show up every week. Unfortunately Covid has had a big hand to play with why things have changed so dramatically. Love the Fenglehorn chilli stall but my absolute favourite is Andrea's scarves. They are affordable, beautiful, versatile and fashionable. Will definitely be back.

This place offers visitors a chance to see some great examples of modern aboriginal art and is a kind of oasis on a street dominated by bars and beachware shops

A fun, lively shop, filled with great gifts (especially for those looking after things back at home while you’re away), and lighthearted Nick Mack’s to fill your home.
    A fun shop to explore!

Love this shop. Always purchase something when visiting Port Douglas. This time it was 3 pairs of earrings for myself. Prices are reasonable, quality is good and variety is impressive. Shop has a friendly vibe and a visit to this gorgeous shop is a must.

A must stop when you visit Port Douglas. Fantastic friendly service. The chocolate and coffee liqueur was absolutely divine, such a smooth taste, bought different ones to try and they were all amazing with milk or just over ice. The chocolate was simply delicious and I wasn’t sharing my Latte chocolate with anyone. Such a thoughtful owner packed my chocolates in an insulated bag as I was travelling. An added bonus I can do an online order when I return home. Fantastic.

The Book Lounge is a great place to browse and pick up a book or three! There is absolutely no rush here. The place is comfortable with chairs and lounges throughout and the host encourages you to enjoy the atmosphere. Thank you James for interesting discussions on the Classics. This is more than a store, it is a book lounge, and a ‘must do’ for anyone interested in books and ideas.

Who would know - they are never open ! It seems many shops in Port Douglas have only come tempt for travellers who are not visiting in the high season . Don’t even have the decency to put a sign I. The window saying “Off season - we can’t be bothered”
