Been several times with Paradise and always said they were worth a good review.
I travel all over the country and often like going on fishing charters.
I've been on so many but to be honest no good estuary ones....
Again with Paradise they exceeded, exsiting, expectations, caught a big feed big enough from a few family's.

Raewyn called a few days prior and offered to switch days so we could benefit from calmer seas. Had a great day on the water with captain Daryl. He’s been guiding trips for 25 years - and is extremely knowledgeable about all the best spots and techniques. Kids had a blast! - holidayjanBrisbane240 contributionsWe enjoyed this trip very much especially eating the fresh mud crabs for lunch. Since it costs about $80 to buy a mud crab it makes this trip very reasonable. With their wealth of knowledge of the area and expert technique advice both guides put me on to Barra and countless mangrove jacks. His knowledge and respect towards all species of the natural environment is amazing. Although not to many fish caught (4 between us) and had to be let free, Jacob tried his hardest to get a great spot but the fish weren't biting and that's just mother nature. He has also started making dog treats & dropped some around for our fur baby & she loved them.
I would thoroughly recommend
Gone Fishing with Jacob.
Jacob's personality made it a fun filled day.

Chris has recently taken over the business and it 100% lived up to the great reviews I had previously read. I went with my 3 boys (10, 12 & 13) and Chris was so lovely, very patient helping the boys and keep us all baited up. We caught heaps of beautiful fish and the boat was perfect, great size and very comfy for the run out and back. I would recommend NQ hire boats to anyone wanting to create their own adventure exploring the islands or hitting the reef. The transaction was seamless and easy and will definitely be using them again. - Gary KKingsville, Canada7 contributionsSimon is a great host and skipper. We left Yorkey's Knob marina at mid-afternoon and returned after midnight and had lots of action. He worked hard to put us on fish, stopping at several places, mainly because of sharks, that were stealing our catch. By the end of the night, my hands were cramping up from reeling in fish. Night fishing is great for a nice sunset and calm waters. His boat is very clean and stable on the water. He obviously loves his fishing and is very knowledgeable regarding all aspects of the sport. He made the kids feel comfortable and encouraged them. Caught plenty of fish. Would happily recommend Fishing The Tropics to anyone looking for a great day out. - Meaton2 contributionsBooked a trip for my dads 60th couldn’t be happier.. the skipper Gallagher knows all the spots and is a gun fisherman the cook was some sort of meal magician everything he touches turns to a 5 star meal and the rest of the crew went above and beyond to accommodate our every need.
