Had a bit of adventure when the river cruise boat struck a submerged log but it was all handled very professionally.
Lunch was ok, didn't go for a swim as it was cold & rainy.
Unfortunately it rained while we did our rainforest walk & again on the beach walk. Interesting info on the rainforest walk though.
The ice cream stop was awesome.

My husband and I did the 3 day reef, rainforest, and outback tour, and really feel that it helped us make the most of our time in Cairns. Skipper Mike and Deck Supervisor Kiki aboard the Evolution were great hosts, and Skipper Mike even invited us into the bridge and gave us his tips about local places to stop on our way down the coast. Our guide for the outback and rainforest days was Gav. We cannot say enough amazing things about him. Incredibly knowledgeable about all things Australia, and such a great conversationalist. Beyond the nonstop learning, he also went above and beyond SEVERAL times on our tours by showing us hidden gem spots or asking if we wanted to do a little extra excursion. My husband and I wish we could just hire him to take us down the rest of the Australian coast for the rest of our honeymoon. - injaloha2 contributionsA very full day of adventuring throughout FNQ. The Mercedes bus was extremely comfortable, and our guide, Michelle, was knowledgeable and funny. The lunch was lovely, and our many stops were well planned. Definitely well worth the money! We would highly recommend to anyone who wants a great overview of crocs, indigenous lore, beaches and rainforests. She helped when I started to feel sick, was flexible with our touring itinerary, and overall shared a ton of information about Australia/Cairns. - Mitchell W1 contributionWe had the absolute pleasure of joining Cairns Adventure Tours on an epic 4WD adventure. We started with a hotel pickup in Cairns in their very comfortable 4WD Isuzu truck which took across rainforest creeks to see some spectacular waterfalls and giant strangler figs. Tony and Tash then took us back to their customised 4WD and after an introduction to navigating the tracks handed over the keys to give us an adrenaline pumping ride through 4WD tracks designed to simulate tracks found in far north Queensland.

Steve was fun, safe with his driving. He was fun to be with & nothing too much trouble. The tour covered the rainforest. We got to stay in the rainforest. The hotel in Cooktown was very comfortable. - Helen F1 contributionA well organised tour. We had a fabulous tour guide in Alfred. He was very knowledgeable and thoughtful of the needs of varying people on the bus. A highlight was the train from Kuranda and the contrast between the magnificent Daintree Rainforest and the vastness of the Outback. The accommodation both in Cairns and Cooktown was good. A small an intimate half day tour with Driver and Tour Guide Mick. The tour vehicle is very comfortable and appropriate for Cairns rainforests and outback.
We saw Kuranda, Waterfalls, Rainforests, local flora and fauna, 800 year old trees, easy 4w driving, swam in breathtaking rivers over ancient volcanic rocks, tasted tropical fruits and the professional commentary was interesting and educational. A great family and adult day sightseeing, with fabulous customer service.
The commentary from Mick was knowledgeable and funny. What a great day. Laurence our driver and guide was awesome. 3 couples , newly acquainted traveling in a Toyota 7 seater Land Cruiser loved every place and experience. Food fabulous and very plentiful, accommodation varied from basic to luxury but all clean and comfortable. I can thoroughly recommend this tour as a unique way to visit “the Tip” for anyone who wants a genuine outback experience. He was extremely informative and really brought the intricacies and history of the rainforest alive. He was also a fascinating conversation partner. He was flexible in terms of timing and good natured to a tee. Although we had some issues with the truck huge efforts were made to make sure we continued on our tour with only one destination missed. Interesting bunch of people, loved the quiet way Adam guided us to take care of ourselves and shared his extensive knowledge of fauna and flora.
