Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A great tour, definitely recommend. Well organised. Lots to go in Kuranda. The food was expensive in the village. They don’t take cash in the sky rail shop either

2 full day trips, one being a trip out to the Great Barrier Reef onboard "Evolution", a comfortable boat with morning tea and a bbq lunch also provided. Snorkel gear was included, and wetsuits could be used for $10. Shame the weather was a bit ordinary, but still a nice day. Photographer available to take underwater pics, I paid for all of them but unfortunately there were none from the first snorkel point where the turtle was :(
The Karanda skyrail and scenic train was excellent, the 3 cable car rides are fun and stop off firstly at the rainforest where you can take a very short scenic walk, whilst at the second stop there are a few beautiful viewing points of the Barron Falls. Cable cars are clean and was great to be able to download the free app onto your mobile and get commentary along the way - takes about an hour to get to Karanda if you get off at both stops, but well worth it. The village was lovely, plenty of places to eat and drink, and worth an extra $40 to upgrade to gold class train on the way back, to have an individual seat & be provided with alcoholic drinks and a cheese platter and sorbet for the very scenic 90min trip back to Cairns. Thoroughly recommend this trip!

Far North Queensland is beautiful. And the three day pass was good value.

The trip to the reef was amazing and the snorkelling was a definite highlight.

Cape Tribulation, Mossman Gorge and the Daintree - also highlights.

Kuranda was a total disappointment. The train up and cable car back was interesting, but Kuranda was tired and completely tourist-driven. My pass meant I had to spend 4 hours there. After the firat 30 min, there wasn't much to see or do.

Really really good - well planned, and informative. The coach driver was the right level of humour and professionalism. Train trip is a must and super scenic, as is the skytrain. Do this- do this - do this.

We are glad that we finally experienced the beautiful rainforest especially a bird’s eye view from the Sky rail.
The short walk to Kuranda village led to lots of souvenir shops, cafes and much more. We enjoyed our ice cream there!
The Army Ducks were very educational about the various types of plants.
An insightful journey into the Aboriginal culture which included the dancing to the didgeridoo, art of javelin hunting and tips on throwing a boomerang,
The bbq lunch was so delicious!!
Our close encounter with wildlife was superb, like the kangaroo, koala, crocodile and the reptiles.
The tips provided by Jude were really helpful. And he is always available if you need to make sure about anything.
Highly recommend to book your tours with Travel Triangle for a great experience!!
