This was a great trip! Mossman Gorge was fantastic. The trip through the Daintree Rainforest was primarily driving through it in the bus however, which was a bit disappointing for us as we thought we'd be able to get out and walk through it a bit. Clint was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable about the area, plants and wildlife.

Despite the first two words of this excursion being Cape Tribulation, we never did go to Cape Tribulation. While that didn't have a big effect on the outcome of our day, I just wanted to mention it in case it was something someone was really looking forward to. We did drive through and quickly stop in Port Douglas.

Had a fantastic time on the Daintree Rainforest & Cape Tribulation Tour! Our guide, Steve, was incredibly knowledgeable, providing a great mix of history, ecology, and local stories that added so much to the experience. The walking tours were short, manageable, and enjoyable—perfect given the heat and humidity.

The crocodile boat tour was like a real-life “Jungle Cruise” (minus the backside of water!), and the boat pilot was quite the entertainer—though maybe don’t ask too many questions! Lunch was delicious, and the staff were very accommodating.

It was fascinating to experience both sides of the Daintree Rainforest, with the old-school ferry crossing adding to the adventure. Mossman Gorge has improved significantly since my last visit 12 years ago, and the overall tour was well-paced with plenty of bathroom breaks. Be prepared to get wet, but the provided golf umbrellas were a great touch. Highly recommend this tour!

Very well organized. The train up was beautiful and fun. Once at top we enjoyed the free time. The gondola down through the rainforest was exhilarating! Definitely well worth the money!
It was super easy for us getting off the cruise ship, being picked up right there and back in a very timely manner. Would recommend it to anyone cruising!

This trip was full of amazing waterfalls and scenery. We had Ben as our guide and he was great and made the day very enjoyable. The different stops to swim and enjoy the waterfalls is a must to do! Overall a great day and trip to take to explore the outskirts of Cairns.

Today me and my partner went on uncle Brian’s waterfall trip, anyone who is visiting cairns this trip is a must, we have sadly planned our trip to cairns during cyclone season so the weather wasn’t great today but that didn’t stop the whole group having a brilliant time! From start to finish the day was brilliant we visited various spots around cairns and swam in the incredible Millaa Millaa waterfall! But the trip was made by our incredible tour guide Brian, if you are fortunate enough to have this top geezer I promise your trip will be even better! A bloke that loves living in cairns and he had a brilliant personal story for every step of the way! Making the day unbelievable so thankyou brian!

Michael did a great job arranging this trip. He clearly communicated trip details after our booking. He picked us up from the cruise port right on time, made sure we gathered in the correct gondola board line, and informed us of the time for boarding our return train. In the late afternoon, Michael met us on the Kuranda Scenic Rail station rail platform at Freshstation and then drove us back to the port. We found Michael engaging, informative and with a great sense of humor. Both Cairns Custom Tours and the Kuranda/Skytrail gondola/rail excursion are well recommended.

An amazing trip! Very comfortable van/bus. Daniel was very knowledgeable about the rain forest, the widelife and history of the area. We went to the Mossman Gorge, and a riverboat cruise looking for crocodiles and saw two. We continued
to Daintree Forest and had very nice lunch at a cafe in the forest. We went to Cape Tribulation and stopped for ice cream on the way back. This tour is a must to see so much in such little time!!

Amazing tour. We saw wildlife most Aussies don’t see in their lifetime, amongst them three platypus and a tree kangaroo. Paul took us to all the right spots, and had so much information about all the animals and nature. Would highly recommend if you want an authentic experience.

Lots of information, very interesting. Would have loved to hear more about the indigenous culture at each stop and their connection to the land before colonization.

I can’t say enough good things about this Discovery Tour. We sampled almost everything that Cairns has to offer. Botanical Gardens, Museum, Palm Cove, tea and scones, and more. We were seven in the group. The driver/guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I was impressed by his botanical knowledge. Excellent overview of the city, its history, its economy, its geography. Thank you,

2 full day trips, one being a trip out to the Great Barrier Reef onboard "Evolution", a comfortable boat with morning tea and a bbq lunch also provided. Snorkel gear was included, and wetsuits could be used for $10. Shame the weather was a bit ordinary, but still a nice day. Photographer available to take underwater pics, I paid for all of them but unfortunately there were none from the first snorkel point where the turtle was :(
The Karanda skyrail and scenic train was excellent, the 3 cable car rides are fun and stop off firstly at the rainforest where you can take a very short scenic walk, whilst at the second stop there are a few beautiful viewing points of the Barron Falls. Cable cars are clean and was great to be able to download the free app onto your mobile and get commentary along the way - takes about an hour to get to Karanda if you get off at both stops, but well worth it. The village was lovely, plenty of places to eat and drink, and worth an extra $40 to upgrade to gold class train on the way back, to have an individual seat & be provided with alcoholic drinks and a cheese platter and sorbet for the very scenic 90min trip back to Cairns. Thoroughly recommend this trip!
