Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A very enjoyable experience at this beautiful sanctuary! The koalas were super cute and seeing a platypus was a unique experience! The kangaroos were pretty sweet too!!!!

A wonderful destination for people of all ages. There are several eateries in the area, and you may relax in the park and observe the passing scenery.

A great way to go around the city and so cheap at 50c a ride! We were assisted by Jason at Riverside wharf and he was a superstar. He gave us tips of where to go in Brisbane and how to get there in such a friendly way. A really nice guy and is an absolute credit to the company - staff like Jason really make companies stand out from the rest. Thank you so much City Cat and Jason for making our trip to Brisbane so good

The guide we had "Paul" was excellent he had an enormous wealth of knowledge of the XXXX Brewery he was able to use a bit of banter and a few jokes which made the tour enjoyable.

Enjoyed this. Beautifully laid out with plenty of variety. Some walking and hills to keep in mind. Loved the lakes, rainforest areas as well and plenty of water dragons to keep you interested. 10-12 minute walk from city.

I've been there for the third time yesterday. Every time I come I find a beautiful new feature that I hadn't noticed before. This time it was the Tropical Dome. I don't want to spoil it, I'll just tell you: don't miss it! Quite a sensorial experience! Also don't miss the Japanese gardens and Bonsai display. Fantastic! I recommend going as soon as it opens when it's not very crowded. 😄

We had a great evening at Eat Street. There were plenty of food and drink options, and dietary requirements were well catered for. The gluten free donuts from The Doughnut Bar were the best donuts I’ve ever eaten :)

City Hopper dose not operate anymore and has been split into 3 cross river ferries which you have to pay 50c so I recommend using the city cats which are also 50c you can use a debit/credit card tap and pay and if you have children you need to purchase a go card from the train station or 7 eleven

Beautiful river with incredible views of Brisbane. Lots of easily access areas along the river. Plenty of restaurants and stores along the way.

Perfectly sized for an hour or two of strolling, these gardens are well worth a visit if for no other reason than to escape the hustle and bustle of central Brisbane. We visited later in the afternoon, however, and were surprised to find that cafes etc. in the gardens (and indeed in the city centre) were already closed, so do bear this in mind. Apparently it's a Brisbane/Queensland thing.

This was just a couple blocks from the W hotel that we stayed at W while in Brisbane. It’s immediately next to the City Hall and King George Square. There are lots of shops and food options here. Interesting for us is that a lot of the stores were American stores and brands. There’s definitely a lot of American influence in the Australian cities. This a nice place to walk around looking in store and have a bite to eat. We did this on the morning that we were leaving on a redeye flight back to the states so we didn’t spend as much time here as we probably would have liked to.

Anyone visiting Brisbane (or even the Gold Coast - it's worth the trip up) who's interested in art should make a beeline for this sprawling complex, which features a world-class collection of art. And it's all free! The centre is currently hosting The 11th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art, and it's amazing.

The only problem we had with our visit was navigating our way around, as we'd never been there before, but I think we came at it from the wrong side. Still, that meant we got to enjoy the South Bank promenade and views as well, including from the museum cafe's terrace, where we had an unexciting but decent late lunch.

Walked across several times, day and night, and from beneath, and all gave lovely views and moments. Wonderful way to see some Brisbane.

The City Hall and Clock Tower tours surpassed my expectations.

Eomer Sweet, our guide, was professional and passionate about sharing as much as he could within the 45-minute tour. Being a historian himself, he enriched my understanding of the development of the City Hall and Brisbane.

My only "gripe" was the tour should have been longer!! A must-see for everyone.
