  • The ranking of tours, activities, and experiences available on Tripadvisor is determined by several factors including the revenue generated by Tripadvisor from these bookings, the frequency of user clicks, and the volume and quality of customer reviews. Occasionally, newly listed offerings may be prioritized and appear higher in the list. The specific placement of these new listings may vary.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We started our tour from a great spot in Brisbane (Howard Smith Wharves) and arrived into Moreton Island about 90 mins later. Luckily the weather was perfect and the ocean was calm and great conditions for snorkelling the wrecks... though would definitely recommend using their wetsuits for extra warmth and buoyancey. Luke was a great guide and ensured we were all safe and together. After snorkelling we grabbed a bite to eat then had a swim off the boat. There was music playing, the atmosphere was fun and we all had a great time, arriving back at about 4.30pm. Would highly recommend this tour.

We had a fabulous time out on the beautiful boat. Greg the skipper did an amazing job, we had a little race sailing on the way to the island and a gentle sail on the way back. We had a group of 11 people and everyone of us enjoyed the trip.

We got the ferry from Brisbane. There's ample free street parking outside the terminal or $20 to park for the day in the terminal. Staff at check in, on the boat and on the island were great.
This trip includes 3 hours of kayak and snorkel hire, 1 hour stand up paddle board hire and use of the resorts facilities. Recommend hiring the kayak and snorkel together, kayak to the shipwrecks and then swim out to them. It is quite a way out though so you need to be a strong swimmer! Visibility around the wrecks isn't the best. Can snorkel in the shallows too and see fishes and baby rays. Hot showers available where you hire the equipment from. Pool tables in the B&B bar.
Recommend bringing your own packed lunch, sunscreen and plenty of water.

Booking through the Trip Advisor website was uncomplicated, even the night before. The next morning, our names were already on the list at check-in at the ferry terminal. On the island, we were greeted as we got off the pier and taken to their rental location. We signed the forms. That all went pretty fast. In the Wrecks Package, you have 3 activities to choose from, but it is really difficult to get in all 3 in one day. We took the early ferry, but by the time you are there and signed up, it is 9:30. That leaves 6 hours for the activities, as you need to pick up the return ticket around 3:30 back at the pier. We did the fish feeding event right away (at 9:30), which was supposed to be an hour, but they had us back within 30 minutes. Snorkeling was due at 11:45, meaning you are ready to go out to the wrecks at 12:45. Needless to say, after that, the day is done. We ended up taking a kayak and snorkel by ourselves, not the tour, to give us more time at the wreck. That was fine, other than the fact, that the kayaks were very hard to streer in the water. But we had a great time observing the fishes. Some of them are very curious and come right up to you.
Overall, it was a fun day. I think the deal, for that price, is OK. I think you end up paying about the same had you chosen the activites separately. You do loose a lot of time between activities. We had the (bad) luck that a cruise ship had anchored near the island, so there was a LOT going on.
