Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- AllanJGJWellington, New Zealand4,247 contributionsDropped into this monumental-looking edifice while walking around the cultural precinct simply because I saw a sign saying there was an exhibition about neon on the second floor. Not huge but a bit of fun and worth a few minutes of your time if you like neon lights - and who doesn't.Written 18 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GoGoGoMNSaint Paul, MN12 contributionsThis is more than a tourist info center, the building was a glamorous movie theater back in the day. Gorgeous interiors. Make sure to walk thru to the upper back area.Written 14 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Anne DBrisbane, Australia72 contributionsNot far from City at The Gap & on banks of Enoggera Reservoir you can visit Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre for small fee $20.90 for family of 2 adults & up to 2 children) & $5.60 concession. Because of dry conditions it isn't at it's peak, but there are still kangaroos, an emu, wombat (sign said he was on holidays last week!) in outdoor area, and underground there is a platypus rockpool & dunnarts, snakes, lizards etc to see. There are 2 feeding times to witness platypus, but he is a wild mammal & chose not to appear at 11am fed while we were there. It is well worth a trip. Green Tree Frog Cafe offers basic food & drink on site. You can go for a swim or kayak in Reservoir & there are several walks through the national park, but again, due to dry conditions some tracks may be closed.Written 2 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - reviews6169Brisbane, Australia1,891 contributionsSaw this place and stopped for a quick visit to get out of the heat and into the air conditioning. Staff were very attentive and helpful. There is a small little cafe where you can sit and have coffee if you like. If you had the time you could spend a few hours there.Written 17 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - WorldTravla7Cairns, Australia8,670 contributionsMy first walk with the Brisbane Bushwalkers Club (induction walk) was a walk at Mt Coot-tha reserve starting at Grey Gums Picnic Area. We covered a few tracks including Eugenia Circuit, Simpsons Falls and Fairy Wren Circuit. It was an easy walk and leant itself well to the group stopping regularly and going through club rules, first aid / safety matters, club system for grading of tracks etc with the leaders.
The main thing I learned was the sheer abundance of trails through the Mt Coot-tha Reserve, which is Brisbane’s largest natural area covering 1500+ hectares of open eucalypt forest. There are short walks, long walks, walks with creeks/waterfalls and walks that have BBQ and picnic areas. I am now keen to get back and explore more of Mt Coot-Tha reserve.Written 15 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There was even a tree (fake tree probably made of cardboard or paper) in the kids section! I found the DVD that I was looking for! There's even a park outside. It has a tree with long branch and some wooden poles are attached to it to make it safe for all ages to go on it. Lots of fun and different fun things to do at the park. And when you borrow a book out of the library, you can read it at the park because there's shady spots and seating. There's a cafe and ice cream at the park so buy some food at the park and take it into the library. Really big sign so you won't miss it. Easy to find.Written 25 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- iitravelBrisbane, Australia695 contributionsThe Qantas International Business Lounge located upstairs in the northern corner of the airside departures overlooking the concourse below and gate 80.
The lounge has two levels but the upper level is usually only opened when the lower level is reaching capacity. A lift gives access to the upper level for those with mobility issues.
Plenty of different seating options most with access to power for charging phones laptops etc. Tables and chairs to either have a meal or relax in comfortable lounge chairs with small tables in between if just having a tea/coffee or other beverages.
The barista coffee is also excellent.
The staff employed in the lounge are always friendly and constantly moving around the lounge to remove used cups plates keeping the lounge area clean.
A small business section for those wanting to work.
Three Shower rooms are available along with and male and female toilets, including disabled toilets.
Breakfast was on the menu when I was in the lounge and a good assortment of hot food choices, including scrambled eggs, sausages, hash browns. Bread for toasting with a choice of jams and honey and vegemite.
Cereals, yoghurts and a pancake machine.
A small station away from the main food area with tea and water and juice options.
This lounge is well presented and the employees are excellent at providing service to customers.Written 29 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
