Hands down, the crew on the boat was outstanding. The day we went to the Koala sanctuary the weather was sunny and hot. When we boarded, all of the covered seats were taken, so we sat inside the boat. On the way back, we made sure that we were on the boat early, and we snagged covered seats on the top deck. The river cruise ship offers food, which was surprisingly delicious, considering the constraints of cooking on a pontoon boat. The Lone Pine Sanctuary was the highlight of our trip to Brisbane. We had an advance reservation to hold a koala and get a photo, however we were told the policy has now changed to requiring you to wait until the day of the trip. The photo experience sells out fast, so you must make your reservation as early as possible. - Patrick L8 contributionsAmazing experience! Beautiful catamaran boat and very friendly caring crew staff. Comfortable cruise ride and saw pods of humpback dolphins on our way to Moreton Island. On arrival they provided gears & guided snorkeling around the shipwrecks, seeing corals & lots of colorful fish. After that we also had ample time for swimming / SUP/ relaxing on the beach. Very delicious tropical buffet lunch with Gold Coast king prawns and fresh fruits for snacks.

- Lids V13 contributionsWe had a fabulous time out on the beautiful boat. Greg the skipper did an amazing job, we had a little race sailing on the way to the island and a gentle sail on the way back. We had a group of 11 people and everyone of us enjoyed the trip.

We were able to do the ATV Quad tour then.
The Desert Safari is expensive but great fun! Sliding down a 70m (8 storey) dune gives you such an adrenaline rush. Plus it's a great workout walking back up. Prepare for sand going everywhere (I really mean everywhere), getting sand burn and wear sunglasses to prevent sand in the eyes.
The ATV Quad tour is more value for money. Ride around either solo or tandem on a sand adventure park.
The only struggle of the day was finding the tour desk to check into our Desert Safari. - Bev W3 contributionsThe cruise itself was very good. We had enough time to see and photograph many sights along the Brisbane River. Unfortunately, although the cruise began at 6pm, our booking was spoiled by a group of about a dozen passengers whose only reason for taking the cruise it seemed, was to have somewhere different to party. I assumed that was what the party cruises were for but perhaps they booked the wrong one? They seemed quite oblivious to their surroundings (and unfortunately their fellow travellers) I'm not sure if this cruise came with a commentary, if it did, it would have been impossible to hear.

Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Sean M1 contributionGreat day out on Moreton Island.. hired a 4WD to see the north of the Island(quite expensive for 2 people, but can fit up to 6 people I believe), snorkelled the wrecks(great snorkelling, both at high tide and low tide.. low tide being easier to access and advisable for the less experienced snorkeller.. also, water shoes advised but not essential). Relaxed at the pool before feeding dolphins.. great to be able to see and feed these wild animals up close. Saw a wobbygong and young manta ray at the feeding too. - Sam H3 contributionsMuch to our surprise we only had 6 people on our boat yesterday with 2 crew. I felt bad that they were only taking such a small group, but nonetheless we had a great time despite the cooler weather. We had pre-ordered a bottle of MUMM champagne which we wanted to drink on the beach, so I decided to swim from the boat across to the beach with it safely packed in a bag and balanced on a pool noodle!! The water was crystal clear and so relaxing. How lucky were we!!
We then headed over to St Helena island to enjoy a cheese platter and a drink. I had wished we had an opportunity to head into the historical buildings, but I will go back and explore another time. When she picked us up from our hotel I thought we were going to meet a bus with a larger group. But no, it was just the three of us. We had such a wonderful experience, kangaroos, whales, turtles, eagles and birds just to mention some of what we saw. All in all, we had such a wonderful day and Anita even drops us in the Brisbane CBD so we could have a few collies and a nice meal in the city. Do your self a favour and use Anita for only two or three people, she makes four, how private is that.
