- Kamal PByron Bay, Australia10,009 contributionsIt was crowded being the New Year’s Eve but we were lucky to find a parking spot very close to the summit at the Mount Coot-tha. Viewing gallery - the open-air deck provided a 180-degree view that covered the Brisbane CBD area and the Brisbane River. The summer house was the highest point at the summit. Old building atop Mt. Coo-tha was a typical yesteryear, beautiful structure being currently subject for renovation and repair. - Pablo SBrisbane, Australia3 contributionsI've been there for the third time yesterday. Every time I come I find a beautiful new feature that I hadn't noticed before. This time it was the Tropical Dome. I don't want to spoil it, I'll just tell you: don't miss it! Quite a sensorial experience! Also don't miss the Japanese gardens and Bonsai display. Fantastic!
