What travellers are saying
- Uk-WickermanBolton, UK81 contributionsFun day and staff very knowledgeable so ask away anything is not a problem. Koalas well cared for so what’s not to like. Not often you can this close to the koalas so give it a go.Written 25 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- JouniMikaelEspoo, Finland30 contributionsNice place for lazy afternoon. Everything you need is well in reach. Superb for families with small children. We rented bikes and drove next to the river.Written 15 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ruchi L20 contributionsIt was a wonderful experience watching the sunrise from here. It is beautiful to see the sun come up and spread light. Afterwards we had great time enjoying coffee at the cafe. It was a perfect start to a great day.Written 12 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- CaterpieMelbourne, Australia198 contributionsBeautiful garden and excellent customer service. We spent an excellent and enjoable day wandering around this garden. There are various sections, each focussing on a specific theme, e.g. tropical, australian bush etc.
Customer service reps have been wonderful, knowledgeable and patient in explaining the various sights and what to do.
The onsite restaurant is very slow in serving on the day we visited. All in all, an enjoyable and fun outing.
Tip: Best to visit early as parking in the garden is limitedWritten 3 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - DAVID HFalmouth, UK637 contributionsThe City Cat resumed a restricted service whilst we were in Brisbane and we took advantage by sailing up to the North Shore Hamilton and back down to the furthest point at West End - about 2.5 hours (ish) as a round trip - a great way to view the many stunning riverside properties as well as a different perspective of Brisbane from the river. We used our tap on and off tickets which can also be used on the trains.Written 26 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Montana ABrisbane, Australia8 contributionsWhat an unforgettable experience! Our tour guide Torry was super funny and entertaining. The history on beer videos played were well put together and engaging. The whole tour was amazing and the beer tasting was fun! We also got $5 gift voucher to spend on awesome XXXX merch. After the tour we had some yummy Woodfire pizza and more beer in the bar area and played pool. Such a fun Saturday afternoon spent with friends! I would highly recommend if your looking for things to do in Brissy!Written 14 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- TommoMelbourne, Australia45,629 contributionsThis is an excellent free city ferry service.
Boats are smaller than their usual ferries.
I used the service one way to go from Riverside to Howard Smith Wharves to enjoy a few drinks at this atmospheric location full of bars and restaurants.Written 8 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - DAVID HFalmouth, UK637 contributionsWe were staying in the Hotel Grand Chancellor which was situated directly across the road otherwise we may not have walked around the Park. It has been very well planned out and immaculately maintained by I imagine a team of gardeners. Watch out for the lizards who roam freely everywhere. Lots of picnic and BBQ areas around the Parkland and it also has an excellent cafe which is worth a visitWritten 26 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Christian EFort Lauderdale, FL7 contributionsFor me this was actually my favorite attraction in all of Brisbane. A huge variety of food vendors with cuisine from all over the world plus multiple stages with musical entertainment. I really enjoyed my time here.Written 17 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mark_and_Ann_ReillyGuildford, UK315 contributionsA lovely, peaceful place in which to marvel at some of the extraordinary plants native to Australia.Written 25 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- walt101Easter Island, Chile83 contributionsThe tour was fun. I didn't find it scary, though some of the stories were both interesting and gruesome. Our guide was good, with lots of interesting tales of life inside, escapes, executions, ghostly visits by ex-prisoners, and the appearance of a ghostly cat called Tripod (he had three legs).
I'd also recommend them for their great customer service. Having booked a few weeks in advance, one of our party (my 11-year-old niece) became a COVID close contact and had to isolate for the week, just before the tour. The organisers were so helpful in re-arranging another date.
So, excellent customer service, great tales of a darker side of Brisbane's history, and a fun way to spend an evening with friends or family.Written 6 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - DAVID HFalmouth, UK637 contributionsIts well worth travelling up the river on the CityCat where you get a great opportunity to view some of the fabulous riverside properties as well as a different perspective of the city itself. It was only a restricted route due to the recent floods during our visit but we still enjoyed sailing down the river.Written 26 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- nldogbertEindhoven, The Netherlands2,781 contributionsThis is the place to be to view and appreciate the Brisbane skyline. There's some beautiful walking/running/cycling path. Sadly due to the recent storm, quite a lot of the area is damaged and under reparation. Still worth the visit for a nice stroll along the river.Written 25 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- janet f13 contributionsWonderfully curated art show with works from Philippines, Thailand, Korea . Well explained and a good lay out. Very good cafe with outside seating under a large shade tree. Free entry with vaccination proof.Written 3 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MaddyRBCairns, Australia39 contributionsUnfortunately alot of levels and displays closed. Those that were open were very interesting and well presented. The animals that were taxidermy were absolutely brilliant and presented so realistic. Very clean and very welcoming staff.Written 8 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
